the individuals working with. Lastly, the discussion is related to areas of strengths in role of
mentoring & the areas where development is needed in order to satisfy the goals & objectives of
an individual's career along with five point action plan will also be prepared in order to create
development in own skills and knowledge.

a) Similarities & Differences among coaching, teaching as well as mentoring along with
summarizing the duty and obligations of mentor
Teaching: In this, a teachers main focus is to make the student understand basic principals of
concept being taught. It will include all key attributes which are essential to understand a certain
procedure. This needs a particular environment, which shall include surroundings, tools to help
and a place where if a student does some mistake it should not effect performance of
organisation or harm it. Various elements & skills which is required by any teacher in order to
give any kind lecture is good communication skills which provide teacher clarity & assist them
in making students understand concept with proper transparency. Students need to practice and
learn all such concepts, which will make the impact directly on their brain. In case of any

practitioner. Plus, it includes various techniques as well as tools which assist them in order to
form correct and effective decisions. A student this way will remember all lessons granted to

Mentoring: In this method usual focus is upon learning technique an expert teaches a person to
become expert in a specific area. It is the period when individuals become more mature & have

properly excel in this. The main aim is to organise & develop proper instruction which needs to
be sorted as per the requirement. The main area is to conduct as well as to give some elements
which assist an individual person in gaining correct decision making power. These mentor help
them in making correct choices and have to include the required issues in the upcoming areas of
aspects. Mentor also necessarily to connect with the students on emotional basis in order to make

be made as per each student which has to be done,some of the following instruction:

understand things. The main aim here is to guide and provide the required strategies,
which are to be done in the guiding techniques. Every student need to be understood in a
different manner.
ï‚· Acquisition results and Response: They have to understand each and all aspects upon
which the whole student is asking alterations. I have to ascertain a track record of each
person who is enabling these kind of aspects (Dornyei and Ryan, 2015). The main aim of

Reflection basically help to know about the strengths and weaknesses along with the
available opportunities and threats available to an respective so as to achieve the goals and
objectives of an individual in own career. The my own experience is reflected which was
ascertained by me during the mentoring of some of my students. It was completely a pleasant
experience which I came across with those students. However, things are not equal always so it
does not mean that everything passed with good means everyday but there were also some points
where the communication lacked and also become a reason of our disputes among each other.
Another time, when I provided with students where I was supposed to bring development of
acquisition operation that will aid in shaping future in a well defined manner. Earlier to the
starting their development process, important for myself to carry my own evaluation so as to
know about the areas of improvement & also whether I am capable of doing same or not. In case,
I am capable sufficient of providing development process than it will be good otherwise, this is
also important for myself to carry on the improvements in my own. Some skills & competencies
that were important for an individual in order to get succeed in their life. So firstly, discussing
about strengths so it is related to the strong connection skills with the assist of which it is
manageable to build others to understand what I want to convey to them. This skill also helped a
lot to me in understanding about what the students wants to convey to me as well.

in the success of an individual's career (Sessa and London, 2015). Creativity, patience,
leadership, motivational are some of the important skills and qualities which is important to have
for an individual so as to get success in their career and also to fulfil the roles and responsibilities
which a mentor or teacher had.
Along with the above skills and strengths of mine, there were also some weak points or in
other words, it can be said that there were also some areas of improvement with the help of
which it could become possible to make improvement in the level of efficiency and to make
improvement in the level of services which is provided to the individuals. As such the conflict
resolution skill in which I am weak and also the skill in which I am not good. At the time of
conflicts in the team, it is not possible for me to find out a good and satisfactory solution to the
issue faced by team so that situation could be controlled. Through this, areas of improvement,
the artefact is also related to decision making skills, time-period management & critical thinking
skills in which also the betterment is important so that it will become possible to provide the
students with higher level of services that aid in foster the velocity of their acquisition and
development. With the aid of this advance, it is possible to improve the level of scholarship of
students and the same will help in shaping their upcoming to be a better future.
