INTRODUCTION
Individual reflection refers to a response to specific stimulus. The reflection is written by
a person to explore personal feelings, experiences and events. It provides an opportunity to
individual to reconsider feelings, thoughts and events from a very fresh perspective. Performing
reflection on one self helps in gaining insight and seeing the way to move forward. This is
reflective report in which my own reflection is included on group presentation which I made in
the group of three. The reflection is written on my own experience when I present the
introduction, vision, customer relationship and customers segments part of presentation. This
reflection covers the ways skills were identified in group and the challenges that are faced by an
individual as an entrepreneur. At last, the performance of group in business model canvas and
the processes involved that enable me to see the idea through is included in the report.
MAIN BODY
Individual reflection is defines as the response of a person to their own feelings, thoughts,
events and experiences. There are so many experiences that an individual gain in his/her life and
face various situations and events which provides them learning. Reflecting on own experience
provides an opportunity to person to reconsider own feeling, thoughts and experiences. In this
reflection, I discuss about my own experience in the module while presenting presentation in
front of other people in class. The module is based on Entrepreneur in practice and during the
module I was assigned with the task of giving presentation in class room. In this presentation, a
group of three people was formed by my tutor and we all required to work collectively in
preparing the ppt. and present it effectively in front of others.
At the time when I was assigned with the task of giving presentation, I was very nervous.
We all three people was assigned with the topic “Entrepreneurship in Practice” and on this topic,
we are required to give presentation. There were various parts in presentation and all were
divided among us. I was assigned with the responsibility of presenting information on
introduction, vision, customer segment and customer relationship part. The remaining 2 people
in the group was also assigned with particular responsibilities and the topics on which the
required to collect information and presented that in front of other people in class. When the
responsibility of giving presentation was assigned to me I felt very nervous as I thought that I
have given this presentation individually. But, when my tutor asked to give presentation in group

of three people, then I felt relaxed. We all three people in the group divided our responsibility
equally and started to work on preparing the presentation. In preparing the presentation, we also
take help of our friends. With the help of them, we were enabled to prepare a good presentation.
Before giving the presentation, I thought that how will I prepare presentation and present
it in front of others as I never give presentation before. It was the first time when I required to
present something to others. Apart from this, my communication skills was also not so good due
to which I thought that I can not do it. But, my tutor and my peers insisted me to give
presentation. They motivate and encourage me which enabled me to present some information on
the topic in front of others. While giving presentation in the class, I felt very nervous and I was
hesitated to speak in front of others. My morale was very low at the time of giving presentation,
but then, my group members supported me and helped me in performing effectively. My team
working skills was also not so effective, due to which I was initially not able to interact and work
with my group members effectively. But later on, when I interacted with others, I felt
comfortable to work in group. My group members also worked well during presentation. They
motivated me whenever I felt low and helped me always during the presentation. I lacked
confidence when standing in front of others and according to me my communication skills was
poor. But, in this regard, other people thought that my communication skill is average and I just
needed to work a little more on it.
During the presentation, there are many things that went well like when I gathering
information on the topic, it was very easy for me as my research skills are good. Due to my good
research skills, I enabled to gather lots of information on the topic. By gathering information on
the topic “customers segments”, I learnt so many things. I enabled to gain deep knowledge on the
topic. By researching, I get to know about the bases on which customers are segmented. It is the
process in which the consumers are divided into the group on the basis of some common
characteristics. These basis includes age, personality traits, income, behaviour etc. Apart from
this, I get knowledge about customer relationship and its importance. There are so many things
or areas on which I gained knowledge by conducting research. In addition to this, by giving the
presentation, my confidence level was increased and I enable to stand in front people and speak
on any topic. My team working is also improved by working with other people. So, these all are
the things which went well during the presentation. Apart from the good experience, there are
some bad experiences also which I have. These includes in appropriate time management skill.

As my time management skills are not well so I found it difficult to complete my work on timely
manner which also hampered the work of other team mates. Addition to this my communication
is average but I required to improve it as I found so many of difficulties while communicating
information and explaining it to the other people.
The overall experience of mine related with forming up introduction of report along with
the customer segmentation and customer relationship was great as I become able to develop my
understanding regarding the area of study. With the help of this project I become able to develop
my researcher skill as I came to know about several methods that can be adopted for gathering,
arranging and analysing the data in effective manner and support in arranging it in systematic
manner. In addition to this I also become able to determine the ways for creating unique content
so that plagiarism can be avoided. This is so because the plagiarism is consider to an unethical
practice and academic mis-conduct that may result into serious action to be taken from university
against student.
While performing this study I become able to develop my understanding regarding the
importance of customer relationship and manner in which it is developed by a brand. The
consumer relationship is consider to be crucial from a business point of view as it help a business
in getting survive in the marketplace. Despite of this I also become able to develop my
understanding regarding the market segmentation where I came to know that it is crucial for an
organisation to determine a particular group of people that are in need of particular product so
that all the marketing practices can be imposed to them only for getting better outcome. There
are number of factors through which the whole market is divided into chunks on the basis of
their similarity in the characteristics they hold. Throughout my project I have realised that my
communication skills get improved as while working in a group of at the time of gathering
information I required to interact with range of people where I learn how to communicate my
ideas in front of them, effectively so that they can understand my message effectively. These
developed skills will support me in future in order to get several growth opportunity in term of
both professional as well as personal life. Despite of all this it can be said that the adverse
situation that I face at the time of completing my task support me in a lot in learning several new
skills or capabilities such as handling team members, problem solving, communication skills,
developing relations with team members etc.

In future, when i will get opportunity to give presentation, there are so many things which
will consider in order to ensure that the presentation will be deliver successfully. I will work on
my communication skills and attend seminars and various classes so that my communication
skills will get improve. I will also try to communicate with others more so that i enable to
interact effectively with others. I will also ensure to participate more in group working activities
so that my team working skill can be improved and i am able to work with others collectively
and cooperatively. This will help me in ensuring completion of work or assigned task in proper
way. Apart from all this, I will ensure that all the content will be gather from authentic sources so
that accuracy and relevancy of content can be maintain. This will help me in providing audience
with appropriate information so that they can get better knowledge regarding the topic.
So from the overall experience of giving presentation in the module, it can be said that overall
experience is good and I learnt so many things from this exercise. I learn to work in group in
effective way and performing task appropriately by the help of team members. My
communication skills are also enhanced after giving this presentation. In addition to this, for
improving my time management skill, I will prioritise my work and all the activities in
systematic way. The activities will be prioritise by me as per their significance so that task can be
completed on time and effective delivery of presentation can be insured. My improved
communication skills help me in presenting my views and opinions regarding the topic in an
effective way and enable other people to understand properly what I want to say.
CONCLUSION
As per the above mentioned report, it has been concluded that by conducting own
reflection, an individual learnt so many things. Reflection mainly put a light over the whole
experience of an individual throughout a particular duration. It helps a person in knowing his/her
strong and weak areas so that these can be improved effectively. It assist an individual in
expressing his/ her own feelings regarding an event, incident etc. Group working helps an
individual in performing task in more effective way and attaining the team goals.
