gained during the activity. The below given reflection is about the learning and knowledge
gained during the research process conducted on the topic ‘Impact of fitness industry on

economy of Australia. More than 1.5 millions of people are into fitness activities in the
nation which promotes the increased number of fitness centres in the country (Begg, 2017).
The citizens of nation has developed more interest towards healthy lifestyle which incarseed
the demand for the fitness products (Kain, 2014). The industry has also given employment
to more than 30 thousand people in the country (Fitness Australia, 2012).
2. How this learning can be applied in future
This research experience was a fresh experience for me as I have never attempted this sort
of task till now. It helped in gaining various new insights about the fitness industry of the
nation and have also made me learn about different approaches of research. The ongoing
research activities helps in maintaining my skills and continuity for a particular task
(Saunders, Lewis and Thornhill, 2015). Resaerch helps in observing things by seeing,
hearing, interpreting and how to implement them in the actual life (Mansor, 2011). This
would increase my chances of improved learning in classroom and in my career in future. It
will definitely help me in analysing my problems in future for living better personal and
professional life.
3. What did I experienced during the research
During the whole research, I have gone through many sources which help me in gaining
better understanding of the subject. I have read various book material, works of other
authors and websites which allowed me to learn about the fitness industry of Australia. I
attempted two assignments which included literature review and business research
proposal by referring to the requirements of research.

people and to have in-depth knowledge about the subject (Creswell and Clark, 2017). It also
helped in gaining insights about the topic which will enhance my knowledge base. It helped
me in brushing up my decision taking skills and practical implications of the theoretical
concepts.

career?
This learning experience will help me in developing my future career. It will help me in
applying the skills learned in my job or business. I will also be able to learn to interact with
the target audience and how to practically imply the knowledge gained through the data
collection process. I will understand the importance of data collection. Data collection helps
in making a person capable of collecting the data at time and with the right set of audience
for achieving the goals and objectives of the company (Gallego, 2017).

up of my plans and implementing them for achieving the final results of the research. The
