INTRODUCTION
Personalized learning is an approach of education that is done with the focus of offering
customized learning to build the strengths, skills and interests. This report will highlight the
skills that I have developed in the process of completion of previous projects. There are certain
things that were not known to me previously but with the completion of the project I learnt
certain things that will be outlined in the report. The skills that boost the level of self-confidence
will be discussed in the report. The skill gaps that are needed to be developed in the future will
also be outlined. Lastly in this report action plans will be created to develop those skills.
MAIN BODY
Task One:
Skills developed from previous projects
Effective Communication: During the previous projects that I have completed the most
important skill that has been developed in me is effective communication skill. Effective
communication skills are very essential as it is the key part that enables a person to explain his
thoughts, views and ideas with the other (Dariotis and et.al., 2016). With the effective
communication skills, the interaction with the people that comes in contact during the routine life
increases. The increased level of interaction with more and more people help me to learn new
things.
Scheduling and Time Management: One of the another skill developed during the
previous projects I have been part of is scheduling and time management. Breaking up of the
whole project in small tasks and making the schedules is essential part of completing the entire
project timely as per the deadline of the project. These skills will help me in my future projects
as well.
Leadership: Leadership is an essential business skill that I have developed during my
previous projects. There were certain instances during those projects that initiated me to lead the
group, and hence the leadership skills developed in me. The decision making ability get
improved in me from the experiences I had during the previous projects in which I lead the group
of ten members (Pérez and Rubio, 2020). Being able to lead in my previous projects helped me
to become more accountable for the actions.
Critical Thinking and Problem Solving: Critical thinking is the ability to analyse and
evaluate the issues and make rational judgement based on the analysis and evaluation. The skills
developed in me with constant analysis, evaluation, interpretation, synthetization of information
and applying the creative thoughts from the arguments and solving the problems according in
order to reach certain conclusions, during the previously performed projects.
Things became familiar during the project process
Project Planning: Project planning was the new thing that I experience during the
process of the project. Project planning is an essential must have skill that forms the foundation
of the project management cycle (Hanbidge, Tin and Sanderson, 2018). The cycle of managing
the project beings with the project planning skill. In this project I have learned how in the project

planning project schedule, resources that are required to be used and the associated costs are
analysed during the planning of the project.
Project Scheduling: In the completion of this project in have developed the skill of
project scheduling. How are the tasks organized along with the team and time in which the
project is to be completed is managed effectively is known by me through the process of
completion of this project (KarpoviÄ iÅ, 2020). I have learned to various tools that helps in
effective scheduling of project. Before the project I used to think that project scheduling is
limited to completing the projects as per the deadlines assigned. During this project I learned that
project scheduling is a broader concept that includes resource management and risk
management.
Project Budgeting and Cost Management: Budget is the fuel for every project that is
required to be done. Budget is that factor that gives life to the plans and make their execution
possible. Through effective budget cost are managed throughout the processes involved during
the entire project.
Task Management: The task management skills are learnt by me during the completion
of this project. Task are the job divided into small sub parts for the easy execution of the project.
During this project I have learnt how to create, organize, and assign task among the team
members based upon their capabilities and understanding of the project.
Adaptability: It is one of the skills that I have during the project. Plans made for the
performance of certain tasks that are involved for the completion of the assignment are needed to
be built in such a way that it becomes easier for the task performer to adapt oneself in accordance
with the task (Kotsiou and et.al., 2022). During the project I have learned the skill to adapt
myself according to be task requirements for the better, effective, efficient and smooth
functioning of the task.
Improvements in the level of confidence
My confidence level has increased to a different level with the projects I have been a part
of till now. I believe that the self-confidence of an individual increases with the increase in the
level of knowledge and skills developed (Aldridge and McQuagge, 2021). With the projects both
that I have done previously and the current project I have learned various things, also I got the
opportunities to improve the existing skills and develop new skills in myself. For instance, better
time management, effective communication and project planning skills has improved my
confidence and made me confident to take up more opportunities in my career.
Use of the learning in my future career
The skills I have learned with my experience from the project will help me in having an
enhanced future career. This can be supported with the facts that the skills that are essential and
forms base for the successful career are mainly good communication skills, leadership skills,
time management skills, project planning skills, critical thinking and scheduling skills. With
efficient communication skills I will be able to express the knowledge I have gathered from the
projects I have participated in. I will organize all the task I will be assigned using my scheduling
skills and do the task on time with the effective utilization of time management skills.
