INTRODUCTION
A business consultant is a professional which provides expert or professional advice in a
specific field such as management, security, accountancy, law, human resources, financial
control or many other specialised fields. A business consultant is important because it help in
terms of finding the weak areas which provides creative solutions for those areas. The present
report will cover discussion about the skills which needs to be developed and about the level of
confidence which has been improved. In addition to this, the report will cover analysis about the
learning which can be used in the career and also about the knowledge which an individual
knows at the initial level of the process. Moreover, the report will cover discussion about the
plan of action which needs to be developed in order to filling the gaps and areas where
improvement is required.

Give reflection on the process and evaluate about the learning and skills development as well
As a result of the project, I have developed different kinds of skills which include
communication skills, listening skills, planning skills,. Problem solving skills, analytical skills
etc. As a part of the team, I have solved many business problems of the client due to which I got
the opportunity to solve these problems into efficient manner. At the initial stage of the process, I
didn't realise that how these skills can be helpful for me for further development and growth as
well. At the initial level, I didn't know that how to use these skills into effective and efficient
manner. These skills are helpful for my overall development and growth of the personality so
that I can perform into result oriented form into the future. At the initial stage, it was very
difficult for me to maintain a higher level of confidence because I was feeling nervous that
whether I can implement these skills at professional level or not. At a very large extent, my
confidence level has been increased on a very higher level because these skills give me that
confidence level that I can perform into efficient manner.
In the future, I can use these skills into efficient manner from the perspective of my
career. Communication skills help me in making strong bond with the clients and having good
communication skills help me in terms of conveying the exact information to other team

members. From the perspective of future career, the skill of listening help me into the context of
enhancing my knowledge and experience into this professional world.
The skill of problem solving also support in terms of making a balance between
professional and personal lives as well. Problem solving skill act as support system in terms of
facing any challenge into positive framework. The skill of planning help me in terms of making a
roadmap towards my career and support into the context of taking each and every step towards
the career. Having a planning skill for the career help me in terms of staying motivated towards
the goal and also turns the career path into the positive field. Planning skill is also important
because it help in managing tools, time and resources in terms of reaching towards the goal.
They also support into context of all levels of the work place and also act as support system for
their own tasks and time as well.
As a business consultant, I have felt that these skills are important for me in order to have
a right and strong career path but up to a certain extent I felt that in the practical situations, these
skills can't be helpful into positive manner. In the real life, decisions should be taken according
to the best solution of the problem so that fast course of action can be taken into result oriented
form. That's why these skills are helpful but its not guarantee that I can be applicable into every
kind of situation. In this manner, I have learnt that for the career skills act as the base for the
individual but how to implement it also depend on this factor that how much it act as helpful in
terms of nature. So I have to be very smart at the professional level in terms of giving results and
enhancing the performance into positive manner.

would be useful or to be successful in the business career. Propose a plan of action in terms
of filling these gaps or developing these areas
There are three major skills which I need to develop in terms of making the career path
very strong and result oriented as well . These three skills basically include communication
skills, planning skills and problem solving skill as well. For further development and growth
these three skills are very important in terms of making my base very strong and effective as
well. The plan of action is very important in order to develop these skills into result oriented
manner. A proper plan of action is defined into the following manner:

An action plan basically refers to the detailed plan which outlines the actions which are required
in order to reach towards the goals into effective manner. It can also be defined as the sequence f
steps which must be taken or activities which needs to be performed into well mannered way in
order to become successful.

needs to be devoted for a particular skill. In this manner, with support of action plan I can
positively develop these three skills into result oriented form.

CONCLUSION
The above stated report concludes that skills are very important for further development
and growth of an individual. It has been concluded that while working within a team it is
important that to develop certain kind of skills into positive manner. It has been determined that
it is necessary that what are my weak and strong points and how can I develop these skills. This
kind of self awareness help me in terms of making the career more result oriented as well. It has
been observed that for developing skills into positive manner it is necessary to have an action
plan so that these skills can be developed into result oriented form. So from the point of view of
professional manner and at personal level, it is important to develop these skills into appropriate
manner for any kind of profile.
