From the teamwork experience, I noted that team members were willing to work with
me; it is because in my perspective team is all about energizing the talents of members,
collaborating with them, so as to produce creativity and motivation. I did the same
created a sense of belonging with team members by involving them in decision making
and considering their range of opinions and individual contributions. I can assert that I
created a positive work environment for the team, and supported them by addressing
their issues and blocks so as to generate optimal results. Team members were very
participative and positive and had the interest and passion for working with me, and the
same can be justified by the fact that while working my team faced a conflict wherein
two members did not agree with a mutual decision, I solved the same by eliminating
misunderstanding, developing communication, planning and keeping perspective from
both the sides thereby reaching success. Then after, gradually my team started liking
and work with me and asked me if they faced any query and involved me in each and
every tasks and activity. Thus, it can be stated that it is vital to create a positive and
trustworthy image in front of the team; so that they can without any hesitation share
their ideas and innovativeness for more contribution(Lacerenza et al. 2018). I used the
same capabilities of improvising synergies, establishing cohesiveness and negotiating
overarching commitments. I made optimum use of my communication and collaborative
skills to solve problems, complete tasks and make decisions.
For the effective implementation of the team, the elements required to produce the final
product were a commitment, contribution, connection, cooperation, collaboration,
conflict and change management (Scholl, 2018). We all worked with harmony and unity
to ensure that the ultimate objective of the team is met.

In a situation where the team did not work effectively, the gaps can be primarily found
in communication and team relationship and hostility (Grint, Jones and Holt, 2016).
Teams generally lose focus and tend to be ineffective, if they face miscommunication
and lack of motivation, they do not lend interest are they are participated, involved and
valued in decisions. The missing things could be undefined goals, communication gap,
unclear mission, weak commitment, poor planning and decisions, apathy in participation
and deficiency in creativity and innovation (Sharma, 2017).
I learnt that for making the team successful, it is essential that that team is clear about
their ultimate goals, and there should be an environment where there are risk and action
taking and trust is stimulated. The major norm is respectful communication which can
create a smooth way to success (Noe et al. 2017). In addition to this, I recognized that
group commitment is another primary requirement to attain the final product. Thus, I
can reflect that innovation, creativity, participative leadership and quality decisions are
also vital norms that can ensure teamwork success.
In teamwork, I would definitely make use of those aspects that I have not used in the
former team engagement, such as establishing team rules, setting schedules prioritizing
tasks for appropriate time management, so that tasks are completed on time.
Moreover, I will motivate my teammates to focus on their strengths so that they can
come up with their best. I will also encourage socializing this time, to foster
understanding, trust and respect. Furthermore, team process will also be organized, so
that clear role is established, setbacks are mitigated, ongoing communication is there,
and constant feedbacks are provided.
