1. Describe 3 benefits of the induction process to the organization
The induction process has many benefits to Etisalat that includes like increased retention
rate, Improved employee morale and Increased productivity. An induction process does not
directly affect the retention rate, employee morale and organisational productivity. However, this
helps Etisalat highlight few of its uniqueness in relation to employee wellbeing and workplace
environment. This helps create positive perceptions in employees, which affect the employee
behaviour (Prajapati, Chack & Trivedi, 2017).
2. Describe 3 benefits of the induction process to individuals
An induction process in context to Etisalat can help its employees to become productive
in quicker times. Etisalat being a telecommunication company is full of challenges. Employees
in particular those dealing with customers in support process and in field face the maximum
challenge. Hence, an induction process for any new hires will help them reduce their level of
anxiety and stress associated with their job. An induction also effectively improves employee
morale and their perception about the new job (Rowland, Ruth & Ekot, 2017).
3. Describe 3 purposes of the induction process
There are many purposes of conducting an induction that also include workplace culture,
compliance and company reputation. During induction a lot can be talked about the workplace
culture. It is important that cultural values are communicated to employees at the earliest as this
will help them develop positive perceptions about the company’s culture. Compliance issues can
be communicated during an induction process. Employees should know the values for
compliance issues practiced in their company. Additionally, an induction is a good source to
pronounce the company’s reputation (Tseng et al., 2016).

5. A learning process
The unit has full of learning materials and will guide me to perform better while being in
a new company. After being through this unit I got to know how things fold up after one join a
company. The unit talks about one of the essentials of the human resource management that is an
induction. An induction as I got to know is beneficial both for the employer and the individual.
This is a good resource for the company to pronounce their reputation and many other things
also. This helps employees be acquainted with the company’s culture, values and other norms.
