World Civilization
The industrial revolution has had more positive impacts in the world, despite also having
some aspects of negativity. It has adversely influenced the way of life and shaped market trends
with the modernization effect brought about by technological innovations. It had positive social
impacts that led to the emergence of labor and trade unions that brought about reforms by
advocating for better wages and safe working conditions (Stearns, 2018). It also led to machine
advancement and automation in factories, which has enhanced bulk and continuous production,
hence an increase in the level of productivity, which maximized benefits and profits (Morrar et
al., 2017). Better quality products that ensure customers' satisfaction can be produced with the
new and advanced technology introduced by the revolution.
Industrial revolution led to massive and widespread urbanization through the rise of
cities. These cities attracted the growth of even larger industries and big businesses that became a
great source of wealth for many nations across the globe that developed and created wealth for
their people (Mokyr, 2018). To name but a few benefits, the industrial revolution had more
positive impacts.
