based on sport industry which will cover the industry analysis factsheet of different organization
fall under the different sub-sectors of sport industry (Kim, Oh and Han, 2020). For the present
industry analysis, the selected organization is Nike (Public sub-sector), Admiral Sportswear
(Private sub-sector) and Sported UK (Voluntary sub-sector). Lastly, the portfolio will also cover
the organizational mapping of one highest performing companies using organizational flow chart
and will analyse how the different internal department of company work together to meet the

The various subsectors and the types of organizations in that industry selected for the
present industry analysis are as follows:
Public: The public sector is one of the sub-sector of the sport industry which is basically
owned, controlled and managed by the government or state run bodies. This is the part of the
economy which is controlled by the state. For example, Nike is the sport businesses that fall

Private: Private is also one of the subsector of sport industry which cover the organizations

organizations. For example, Admiral Sportswear is a UK based sport organization that design,
develop, manufacture footwear, apparel, equipment, accessories and services in UK. The market
size of Admiral sportswear is international (Pierce, 2019). The company is a private limited
company formed in the year 1914 and as per 2020 employed 75400 employees all over the
world. Admiral sportswear is an unlisted company which is not listed on any of the stock

and stores all over the world. In the year 2021, the company have earned the net revenue
of $45.6 million. The company aim is to provide the unique and high quality sports
equipment, shoes, apparel to its target market.
Admiral Sportswear: Admiral sportswear is also one of the UK based private limited
organization. The company have net assets of $4 million as per the 2020 report. The
target customer of Admiral Sportswear is athletes, players as well as local people. The
company also provide kit uniforms to the various football teams and association in free of
cost in respect of sponsoring. The net revenue of company in the year 2021 is $54
million.
Sported UK: This is a UK based wide charity or non-profit organization. In the year
2021, the net income of the company was £3262K which was quite high as compared to
previous year. The main aim of the charity is to support the young people that want to

communication and support within the internal department of the company. It has been
concluded from the critical impact analysis of the different organization structure, that Admiral
Sportswear should adopt the matrix organizational structure. It is because in the hierarchical
organization structure, the department of the company unable to include the lower level staffs
within the decision making process (Luczak and et.al., 2020). However, on the basis of the

Admiral organization is able to successfully achieve the objectives of the company whole work
is done in single direction.
The only issue the company is facing in their achievement of strategic objective is lack of
employee’s commitment, communication etc. In order to deal with the issue, the management of
Admiral Sportswear should adopt matrix structure as well along with their current organization
structure. Further, it is also analyzed that how marketing and finance department of the company
work together to attract the athelets and players towards their products as well as increase sales
of the company (Luczak and et.al., 2020). The interrelationship between the finance and
