Introduction
Getting placement within the industry is getting one step closer to the career
establishment. The progression is essential in terms of penetrating into the professional
world. All these aspects seem true for the student, who did internship with Aussie visa and
educational zone for achieving professional development. Reflective journals would be
produced in the assignment for peeking into the journey of the student till this point. As a
final touch, conclusions would be deduced in terms of the students’ approach towards the
company as a whole and its future prospects.
Company profile
Aussie visa and educational zone is a migrational consultancy, which was established
in 2007. They specially deal with migratory education within Australia. The consultancy was
formed for extending a helping hand towards the Australian people in terms of achieving
their migration goals. As a matter of specification, the consultancy provides solutions
regarding studying in Australia, migrate to other countries as a skilled worker, establishing a
business or getting a sponsorship. Along with this, the consultancy service also helps the
clients in applying for visa. The consultancy takes pride in being a registered name for
Australian immigration.
Reflective Journals
Journal for day 1: Different types of visas
On the first day, I came to know about the different types of visas, which the
consultancy helps in applying. I logged into the website and found the visa types. They were:
student visa, sponsor visa, partner visa, employer nomination visa, skilled regional visa,

skilled nominated visa, parent visa and refugee visa. There was a video presentation, which
helped me to enhance my knowledge about studying in Australia. Here, first I had to decide a
course and the institution, then apply for the course. After this, I received an offer letter from
the institution, asking for my confirmation. I came to know that this document was known
was known as Confirmation of Enrolment (CoE). Finally, I had to apply for the student visa.
As a sequential step, I had to click on “Assessment” button for exiting.
Journal for day 2: Insight into the education zone
On the second day, I gained insight into the courses offered by the consultancy. I was
elated at the fact that they also have placement opportunities and accommodation facilities
within Australia. Here also, the video presentation helped me in understanding about the
courses. I learnt that the consultancy offered courses of university, college levels, PTE
training and IELTS training. I was an undergraduate; therefore, I selected the bachelor
courses. The duration of these courses were 3-4 years. Enrolling in this course made me
realize that I was closer to my dream. This was because; I was receiving quality education
from one of the prestigious institutions of the world.
Journal for Day 3: Different job offers
On the third day, I planned to look for the different jobs, which the consultancy
offered. I wondered at the diversified job offers. Some of the, were Assistant Nursing Staff,
Security Officer, Hospitality Officer, Professional Cleaner, Farm Work. I thought nursing
staffs is prestigious and has many prospects in future. Therefore, I applied to the university
course of clinics, nutrition and dietetics. Here, I got to study about the issues, which the
patients suffer and their relevant cure. I wonder at the diseases, some of which were
unfamiliar to me. Moreover, I got the support and guidance of the experienced doctors, which
enhance preconceived skills, abilities and competency.

Journal for Day 4: Key partners
I reserved the fourth day for gaining information about the partners, who helps the
consultancy in executing the business activities. Logging into the website, I found that the
business partners of the consultancy are divided into three dimensions. The health insurance
partners are nib health cover and Bupa Home Healthcare. Migration partners are Migratory
Agents Registration Authority (MARA) and Member of Migration Alliance (MMA).
Education partners are Academics Australia. I learnt that indulging in alliance with these
partners helps the consultancy in producing collaborative output. I felt health insurances are
beneficial in terms of ensuring the wellbeing of students like us.
Journal for day 5: Board of Directors
The fifth day, I surfed the website for knowing the board of directors. First, I came to
know about Kiran Shrestha, the Director. Prior to this, he was the owner of Aussie Migration
and Education Team, Owner of 7 Nations Ptv Ltd and IT network specialist at Telstra. He is
best known among the foreign students for his motivational speeches. This generated
inspiration within me to meet him once. I came to that his prior experience enables him to
counsel Nepalese students. However, he is equally popular among the students from the other
socio-cultural backgrounds. When I met him, I liked his encouraging and assuring assistance
towards having a bright future in career establishment.
Journal for day 6: Partnership with Immigration Master
As I learned about the migration consultancy, I came to know about one of the special
partners, Immigration Master. This is known for offering migratory education and placement
of the students within Australia. I liked their focus on ethics for gaining customers and
clients. I was going through one of their booklets and found the website links of the associate

agencies. Apart from this, the video about travel Australia was attractive to me. I also found
that the professionals from Immigration Master pay visit to the consultancy for inspecting the
services. I remember seeing a meeting of the board panel regarding upgrading the standards
and quality of education for students like us.
Journal for day 7: Auvisa on Nepal on Facebook
I am tech savvy. I have accounts on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram. While surfing
facebook one day, I came across the profile of Auvisa Nepal. I liked the cover photo. From
this profile, I got to know about the latest information about the courses and the job
vacancies. At once, I sent a friend request to this page. Prior to this, I consulted the professors
and the admins regarding the authenticity and reliability of the page. They liked my
awareness about the increased cyber crimes. Once I sent the friend request, it was accepted.
To my surprise, one of the professors added me into the group, where I found my team mates.
Journal for day 8: About the workplace environment
Located in Sydney, the consultancy is located worldwide, which increases the ease of
the clients to fulfil their migration needs. Wide supply chain network enhances the
relationship between the clients and service providers. There is a provision of exchange of
information, which assists the students to enhance their knowledge. The seminars are an
added advantage, which increases passion for the students regarding their career
establishment. The presence of experienced teachers and their hard work has helped me to
complete my internship properly. The administrative staffs were caring and understanding
towards the resources, which I needed for fulfilling my educational needs.

Journal for day 9: Aussie visa zone
One day, I was relaxing and surfing Facebook, when I came across the profile of the
Aussie visa and educational zone. Here, I got to know the recent updates the consultancy is
planning for upgrading the standards and quality of education. I got to know about the latest
job vacancies, which I can apply for enhancing my professional development. The group
members clarified my doubts regarding the application process. The guide maps on the
facebook helped me to reach the destination of the university buildings. From the photos, I
got an idea about the classrooms and the other departments of the consultancy.
Journal for day 10: Facebook profile of Kristy Formosa
Apart from the personal interaction, I got the Facebook profile of the migration
lawyer, Kristy Formosa. From her profile, I got to know about the seminar events, which
helped me in jotting down the questions. Unfortunately, I was unable to attend the seminar on
Free Migration Info Day. However, the live notification on the Facebook made me feel that I
was physically present there. I wondered at her kindness at going to the airport to receive a
student and drop at the accommodation. Her profile informed me about the offer of $2000 on
admission in the Australian Ideal College. This was a turning point for me in my educational
career.
Journal for day 11: Events
In order to make education lucrative, the consultancy organizes different events. I can
cite the example of Cancellation of CoE Visa and Free Info Session. Here, we got to listen to
the foreign experts. I especially liked the hospitality of the staffs while serving us
refreshments. There were question answer session, which helped us to gain more knowledge
about migration, visa and education. There were photo sessions, which were uploaded on the
Facebooks and magazines as souvenir. Along with this, we were taken on tours, which

enhanced our awareness about the ways visa application is done. We enjoyed this trips and
learnt a lot from them.
Journal for day 12: SWOT analysis
By this day, I think I have gained much knowledge about the Aussie visa and
educational zone. I can now conduct a SWOT analysis. I feel wide network chain is one of
the greatest strengths of the consultancy. Social media marketing acts as an opportunity in
terms of reaching to a large number of audiences. However, I did not find any information on
the financial and ethical code of conduct. This can be a threat for the consultancy in terms of
encountering student switchover to services like Immigration Master. Therefore, I think the
directors need to develop policies and indulge in partnership with the trade union members.
Journal for day 13: PESTLE
I wonder at the assistance, which the Australian government extends towards the
consultancy in the efficient execution of the business activities. I feel indulging in partnership
with the trade union members would result in the introduction of quality educational schemes
for students like us. Adherence to the code of conduct is necessary in terms of gaining trust,
loyalty and dependence from the clients and the customers. Adopting latest software and their
effective maintenance would enable the service providers to avert the illegal scandals and
instances. Solid waste management system is a greatest assistance in terms of preserving the
ecological biodiversity. This enhances the reputation of the consultancy.
Journal for Day 14: Porter’s Five Forces
The ethical approach of the skilled and efficient professionals at Immigration Master
acts as a threat of substitute for Aussie visa and educational zone. Introduction of quality
educational resources has enhanced our bargaining power. I felt that placing the request of
supplying quality materials has respected the bargaining power of the suppliers. Competitive

rivalry between Aussie visa and educational zone and Immigration Master has deprived us of
our educational needs. In this situation, entrance of the start-ups in the Australian market
would add vulnerability into the marketplace of the consultancy.
Journal for Day 15: Extracurricular activities
I found that the consultancy service provides PTE training. Therefore, I enrolled
myself for this training. I was surprised at the fact that the consultancy 150 years of
experience in providing this training. As a matter of specification, this is training for
improving our English skills. Universities and colleges across the world are involved in this
training process. We were provided the access, with which we can take the test and assess our
English. Different students were admission into this training, which I felt enhanced the
cultural diversity of the consultancy. I felt proud to be a part of such a business.
Journal for day 16: Corporate social responsibility
The consultancy has enough in store for all the students like me. I can mention about
the donations and charity, which the consultancy collects for uplifting the standards of the
community people. The accommodation facilities are a typical example of this. The personnel
are very well aware of their responsibilities. They strive to fulfil our educational needs.
Community feeling enhances their corporate image. When they are dealing with our queries,
our identities merge in terms of sharing a common goal, that is, to achieve career
establishment. Based on this, I can recommend the consultancy service for its better future
prospects.

Conclusion
The assignment proves successful in providing an insight into the internal and
external environment of Aussie visa and educational zone. The reflective journals of the
student are a summarization for the ways and means, through which the clients’ needs are
fulfilled. In these journals, the focus is on the future prospects, which the student can avail for
achieving professional development after the internship course.
