INTRODUCTION
Management is a procedure of dealing with people and functions. For an effective
management, manager of an organization has to play several functions but sometimes it can
create problems. Management issue refers problems of barriers which can decrease effectiveness
of management and other functions. There are several types of managerial issue can occur which
may related to finance, operation and other. All these types of problems can decrease image of
the company. But there are several ways by which all these issues can be solved out. Leadership
strategies and using the best leadership style according to the situation is one of the best way of
dealing with issues (Kasemsap, 2017). Leadership style and strategies plays an important role
because the main aim of leadership is to help company in accomplishing its goals. To improve
working environment, motivate employees, increase customers satisfaction are some objectives
of leadership strategies. With the help of using the best style of leadership, poor communication
and other managerial issues can be solved out.
Background
Management related issues create several problems for businesses. This present study is
based on Woolworth which is an Australian chain of supermarkets and grocery stores. It is
owned by Woolworth group, This Australian supermarket chain was founded in the year of 1924.
It is mainly specializes in groceries such as: vegetables, meat, fruits. It does not only limits to
these food products but it also offers qualitative beauty products, house hold products etc. This
study is going to show importance of leadership strategies as how it helps in solving managerial
issues of an organization. Woolworth operates to the great extent and managing all functions is
not an easy task. It has to face several problems. One of the main operational problem is poor
and ineffective communication which can create several other problems. This study will show
some reasons of poor communication in an organization (Nguyen, Karney and Bradbury, 2020).
It will also show impacts which poor communication has on the productivity and performance of
the company. Further, it will discuss increasing importance of some leadership strategies and
styles of leading people in solving poor communication problem.

issues such as sustainability, poor communication can decrease sales of the company, It can also
create barriers in the path of the success. The main aim and reason of selecting this topic is to
provide several informations to organizations in order to understand importance of leadership
strategies. By conducting research on this topic, companies can also understand the relationship
of management and leadership and the extent to which both help company in accomplishing their
goals (Langemeier, 2019).
Significance
The present research is based on to identify the reasons of ineffective communication and
roles of leadership strategy. In order to build the effective managerial activities this is crucial to
have effective and efficient communication within team members. To sort out the issue of
communication the leader of the enterprise plays the emergent role. Thus, present research will
aids to identify the strategies that helps to get overcome from issue of communication within
enterprise.

In order to conduct the research, the following method can be considered as are-:
Research philosophy- This is defined as approach that aids to bring out better plan of action that
reflects how research data can be collected, analysed and investigated. Henceforth, it is
categorised as interpretivism and positivism. Henceforth, researcher will have the use of
Interpretivism.
Research approach- It is defined as plan and procedures that defines that how the research
needs to get done. Henceforth, there are two approach as inductive and deductive. In addition to
researcher will have the use of inductive approach.

Research type- It is termed out as to undertake effective consideration to the study. There are
two ways to collect the research as qualitative and quantitative. Herein, researcher will have the
use of qualitative approach with help of undertaking observation by undertaking the depth
interview.
Data collection- It is defined as process that helps to select the target people from population.
This aids to determine the targeted variables within the established system. Herein, data can be
collected with the techniques as primary and secondary. In this, researcher will have the use of
primary method to determine the first hand information.
Sampling- It is termed out as procedure that select the target people. This statistical analysis
undertakes the predetermined number of observation. Hence, sampling are classified as stratified,
cluster and systematic. In this, researcher will have the use of simple random technique with
selecting the sample size of 30 respondents as leaders.
Data analysis- It is process that helps to inspect, cleaning and transform the data in reliable
manner. Thus, data can be analysed with use of techniques as qualitative and quantitative.
Herein, the researcher will have the use of thematic presentation with use of tabular presentation.
Scope of the study
The present research is based on topic as to identify poor communication issues and
effectiveness of leadership strategies to solve it. Thus, communication plays the crucial role in
terms to bring out better advancement in working enterprise. This research will aids to identify
the leads to analyse the strategies that aids to build the better process of communication.
However, ineffective communication is one of the major cause of management issue.

It has been summarized from the above study that leadership style played a vital role in
solving any type of managerial issues and problems. Solving poor communication is one of the
important function for an organization. It has also shown problems which poor communication
create in an organization such as poor productivity, poor image etc. Further, it has shown
effectiveness of leadership style in order to overcome problems of poor communication.
