INTRODUCTION
Management plays significant role in the organization, they are responsible to manage
people and raising their performance in the workplace. Managers are the person those who guide
the employees and motivate them so that they perform their work effective and retain in the firm
for longer duration. But there are many firms which are recently facing many management issues
(Bolman and Deal, 2017). These issues are related with poor leadership, poor motivation etc.
Due to which people are not feeling happy in workplace and they think to leave their jobs. This
management issues creating trouble for the business because in the absence of skilled labour
firms get failed to sustain in the market for longer duration. Present study is based on Issues in
the Imperical hotel, London. There have been many issued identified by Peter Farnsworth.
Current study will discuss issue of ineffective leadership in the corporation. It is the serious
management problem (Jaques, 2017). This is creating problem of high employee turnover in the
firm. It has been identified by the general manager that leaderships or mangers are unable to
monitor performance of the staff members in the hotels thus, they are unable to deliver standard
services to consumers. Recently company is not providing them any incentive that demotivate
them and they do not take interest in their jobs. It will explain the theories related with effective
management that can help the manager in resolving this problem in the hotel.
ANALYSIS OF INDIVIDUAL PROBLEMS
Imperical hotel is facing challengers related with operations, management etc. All these
issues are creating issue for the business to gain profit in the market and gain competitive
advantage (Goleman, 2017). There are several problems in the company such as poor guest
satisfaction, high staff turnover, negative working culture, ineffective leadership etc. All these
issue are required to be resolved soon so that entity can sustain in the market for longer duration.
Managers are the responsible people for the growth of employees and business as well.
They contribute well so that entity can meet with its goal and can earn more profit. If managers
are not performing well and are not treating employees well then it may create difficulty for the
people to raise their performance level (Waring, 2016). From the case of Imperical hotel it is
analysed that ineffective leadership is the major issue due to which performance of Imperical
hotel is getting affected. Earlier manager was unable to guide people well and monitor their
performance. That is the main reason that workers are unable to raise their standard. If managers
are not making effective control over performance of staff members then it may create difficulty

managers have to make activities in such manner so that overall goal of the firm can be
accomplished. It is duty of manager that to examine patterns and coordinate with each other well.
This can help the mangers in performing their duties well (Hatch, 2018). Otherwise, they can get
failed to direct people well which will negatively impact on the employee's performance to great
extent.

align all department and subsystem so that desired results can get generated. Suddaby, (2014)
argued that scientific management theory is another model that defines that ways through which

their managers. There were not incentive system for the staff members. Apart from this, there
was no person who can direct them well. Earlier mangers was not able to monitor performance
of employees and controlling over their activities. In such condition issues was increasing in the
firm.

thumb work method with the scientific methods can help the managers in creating innovative
platform where employees can perform their work well (Management Theory of Frederick

individual can take action to resolve their problem s and can provide them healthy environment
