INTRODUCTION
Digital technologies are considered as the main factors that completely change the way of
operating a business in today's modern world. With each development of new technology, a
company gain opportunity to run business more effectively. In context with tourist industry,
digital technology has changed the way of travel. Organisations which are dealing in this sector
can provide quick access to tourists where they can find new destinations to travel and
appropriate ways to reach there. In this regard, mobile technology is considered as the best way
for travel industries to make contact with tourists and influence them to visit a place. This would
lead to enhance tourism in a country which proves beneficial for economic development. Along
with this, through implementation of digital technology, travel agencies can reach at their
targeted audience more effectively and gain their retention for longer period as well.
The present research is going to evaluate how digital technology has reshaped the way of
tourism. For this purpose, TUI UK (Thomson Holiday) is taken which is a travel based company
of UK and former subsidiary of TUI Group. It is headquartered in Luton, England and founded
in 1965. This travel agency offer services like holiday packages, cruise lines, passenger airlines
and more. To analyse the impact of digital technology on its operations, under the present
research aims and objectives are framed. This would give directions to researchers what they
have to investigate for conducting a study. Furthermore, researcher’s techniques are also used to
accomplish the mentioned objectives in set period of time.

Research methodology is the process of collection of data in order to perform research and
it is helps to take effective decision. The research can be accomplish with the help of interviews,
surveys and other research techniques which is based on both present and historical information.

Research philosophy helps in knowing the ways in which data can be collected, analysed
and used for an investigation purpose. This technique is used to interpret the data so that better
results can be drawn out from the research. Research philosophy is basically based on two types
which are interpretivism and positivism. In this research interpretivism philosophy will be used
to collect the relevant information about the research topic so that clear interpretation can be
done, thus this tool is suitable because it is effective in providing accurate information by
analysing the perception of authors and writers.
Research design-
Research design is the framework of various methods or techniques that are applied through
the investigator to combine different aspects of research in a systematic and logical manner so
that research problem is solved efficiently. It is mainly determined as the blue print of the

manner. Research design is basically emphasises on three types which are descriptive,
