mainly focuses on the communication environments. It includes the combination of the
telecommunication as well as computers and other kinds of systems that helps users to store
and transmit as well as manipulate the information. The information and communication
technology has a great impact in the society. With the help of this technology, the business
process is much easier than the early days. It not only helps in daily lives but also digital
networking field as well as the economic development of nation and also in the educational
area are greatly impacted by this technology (Bannister and Connolly 2014). But it must
include the ethical implications along with the impact of this technology.

The information and communication technology is one kind of information
technology that provides the accessing of the information via telecommunication. The main
perspective of this technology is the communication area which includes the wireless
networks, computers, mobile devices as well as the internet (Bloom et al. 2014). There are so
many benefits in this technology. At the earlier time, the information and communication
technology gives a wide range of communication abilities for the human lives. For an
example, during the communication time, people use various technologies like Facebook,
voice over IP, instant messaging to communicate with another person in different countries.
But this modern technology brings an innovative technology by which people can

categorized into two categories such as positive and negative impact. Regarding on people,
some of the positive impacts of this technologies are Easy to access information,
improvement in education as well as innovation of new tools as well as techniques.
With the help of this technology, the accessing of information is much better than
previous days. People can easily communicate each other through instant messaging, voice
over IP (VoIP) (Galliers and Leidner 2014). Also it has brought new prospects for the
entertainments as well as leisure and also people can obtain various goods from the suppliers
across the world by using it.
In the educational field, the improvements can happen through the distance learning
as well as the online tutorials. The innovative ways of learning cam extract from this
technology. The job chances are more flexible than the earlier days with the help of this
technology.
New tools as well as techniques can be easily obtained by using the information and
communication technology (Hilty and Aebischer 2015). The different types of innovative
techniques uses for photo editing purposes and also screen magnifications as well as screen
reading enabling for the blind people.
On organizations, the positive impact of this technology effects on the security
purposes of the organizations. Encryption method that belongs in this technology, helps to

In addition to this, there are lots of negative impacts in this technology. The impacts
reflects on the similar perspective such as people, education and also society (Mishra, Akman
and Mishra 2014). On the people, one of the negative impact of this technology is job loss.
This problem occurs due to both the economic aspects including loss of earnings and social
aspects loss of self-respect. Mainly the two technologies of robotics and data processing are
responsible for this impact.
On the area of organization, one of the negative impacts is competition. For some
organizations, it is impossible to compete for the customers as well as other donations,
because it may be lose out for the organizations offering the equal services with lesser
money. Cost is another negative impact by which the organizations bear the extra costs of the
various innovative hardware and software. Because the information and communication
technology brings lots of latest software and hardware that are operated by the specialists.
This extra cost results a loss for the organizations.
On the society, the negative impacts of this technology enlist digital divide. The
information and communication technology bring better improvements in educational field.
For that, the huge cost for education as well as the establishments of the poor students may
have very cost effective.
Moreover, there are some ethical consideration in the information and communication
technology (Schwalbe 2015). The ethical implication focuses on the professional conduct. It

includes the professional bodies with respect to the code of conduct. Every professional must
know about the right action as well as right motive which to do in the different situations for
problem solving. One of the issues is like security issues. The implementation of the security
system is done for the avoidance of the risk of the organization property theft to monitor the
movement of the employee (Vaishnavi and Kuechler 2015). As the deployment in this
technology, every employee should maintain the ethical considerations. Some of other ethical
issues arising in the information and communication technology are plagiarism, piracy,
hacking, computer crime etc. Plagiarism is the process by which one can copy from other. It
is very unethical for this technology. It is happen due to the internet system because all
information are available in the internet. Piracy is another illegal issue because of copying
software. The programmers spend most of the times to design the programming to use the
elaborate code and of course it is required to protect (Veruggio, Operto and Bekey 2016).
But in the corporation field, it is very illegal and serious problem and causes for damaging
the profit margins.
Hacking is also one of the ethical issues in this technology because it is illegal effect
reflects in any organization. It is mainly the process of accessing information without
authorization of any organization. Hackers are always unethical persons for any
organizations. During the hacking process, the system is insecure and requires to improve.
During the process of hacking, few important activities are like program installing that helps
the attacker to steal the personal details of the user, spoiling of websites and the last one is to
steal the sensitive information of any organization. This process may be done by the
unauthorised persons. But sometimes hacking is considered as moral dilemma. Because some
of the hackers can help the organization by using their expertise from stealing of sensitive
data happening by other type of hackers. On the other side, hackers may play an important
role for the organization according to this perspective (Webb et al. 2017). The other kind of

ethical issues be like computer virus. The computer viruses also play the unauthorised
programs that help to steal the valuable data or the details of the user or may control
computer apparatus. The computer viruses are one kind of malicious software.
Three types of malicious software can create the attacking to the computer technology
and they are viruses, Trojan horses and also worms. Trojan horse is one of the malicious
software that can also create an attacking role. This software is mainly associated with any
other game application. During the process of game application, this software can copy all the
address from the address book of user for providing the other game user so that he can access
the similar game application. Another type malicious software is worms which is a self-
contained software. It attacks the computer system to spoil the particular vulnerability.
During the process of exploitation, this software can help to copy the program from the
affecting system to continue the process again. In this way, the ethical implication of the
information and computer technology is described.
Conclusion
In this section, it has been concluded that the information and communication system
is very much important for the society as well as across the world. It helps to enhance the
communication system more impact all over the world, people can easily communicate with
each other using various latest software. Not only it effects in the telecommunication area,
but also it helps the educational fields as well. Because in present days, students can learn by
various online tutorials. This technology also helps any kind of organization by innovative
software as well as hardware like robotics and other kind of machines. In addition to this,
there are some negative impact reflects in the information and communication technology.
Also in this paper, the deliverables consist of some other ethical issues which arises in this
technology. For that purpose, there may have some restrictions so that the decrement process
