Strategic Analysis:
SWOT: Through swot analysis, internal as well as external elements will be identified.
These elements has a huge impact on CC Music’s business.
i. Strength: CC Music has people to manage who they were musicians. Experience
of authorities is key strength of CC Music. Communication between band and
authorities is very good. Each people in the organization properly understand their
roles and duties. Customer handling process is also very good. Organization has a
website to promote their business. This allows CC Music to make use of internet
for benefit. Customer concerns are always taken care of. Chris and Clive are
experienced in managing various aspects of business like studio work, playing at
events, parties, TV and radio programmes.

ii. Weakness: Currently organization is expecting growth in business but it does not
have internal infrastructure to cope with increase in business. All the processes in
CC Music are completely manual and need human intervention. Back office
processes are done manually and this leads to significantly high process
completion time. Delays in communication is also a weak point in CC Music’s
business. Information stored in CC Music often contains errors and goes missing.
Communication with the customer over the phone is a pain point. Customers
often have issues in connecting calls.
iii. Opportunities: Growth of niche market is a strong identifier of increase in
business. Various small bands are emerging in last few years. People are also
going to small band concerts which can provide more opportunity to CC Music.
Significant increase in IT solution incorporation in business has made technology
robust enough to support all kinds of businesses. Secure and fast payment services
are available for low service cost (Febrian et al. 2017). Significant increase in
social media platform marketing has opened doors to small organizations to
promote their business very easily at low cost. The target market of CC Music is
young people who are more on social media platforms rather than TVs (Pradipta
2017).
iv. Threats: Increasing concerns about music rights can be biggest threat. IT
solutions are often seen as biggest threat to business. If not implemented properly
then it can be hacked and all the customer bank account related data can be stolen.
This will completely break the business (Paula 2019). Increase in taxation is also
a great threat for business. It will directly affect CC Music’s profit.

PESTLE: This tool provides good insight of the environment within which CC Music
operates.
i. Political: taxation has a very good impact on the music industry in UK.
Government controls the taxations. The impact of taxation on music industry is
present due to its direct impact on profit. If government control public
expenditure, the sales of tickets for concert as well as concert demand decreases
(Turlais 2016). Stability in government is a very good sign for music industry.
ii. Economical: Inflation hugely affect consumer spending habits. It directly affects
the sales of tickets and number of sponsors for each concert. Consumer
confidence plays a great part in concert full house (Aarstad et al. 2016). Going to
various music concerts is always a priority for people in this country. Growth in
the economy of the country plays a key part in increasing business for people. If
business environment expands, CC Music can call for concerts more often.
Economic growth also provides boost to consumer confidence. UK’s music
industry is mature enough to include competition as well as profit for all the
participants.
iii. Social: Various types of people live in this country. Choice of music for different
group of people is different. CC Music should be able to entertain most types of
music lovers. Promotion of the organization lies within how they can be attached
with social life of people (Borthus et al. 2018). CC Music should always look for
the changes in social values and communication patterns and use that to introduce
themselves to more people.

iv. Technology: New technical products being introduced to the industry has impacts
on different scales. Some technologies are designed to reach more customers and
some are to furnish the internal processes. Some often handle entire organization
processes (Aithal 2017). New technologies introduce new level of competition.
CC Music should be able to accept new technologies with open arms.
v. Environmental: Natural power sources can be used in concerts. As most of the
time concerts are held for one day, it would not be a problem to use natural
sources to gather power (Borthus et al. 2018). Concerts should be conducted
without harming natural resources. The amount of sound pollution done by a
concert must be reduced.
vi. Legal: Copyright protection laws are dominant within music industry. CC Music
should maintain all the copyright related rules to avoid legal obligations.
Maintaining proper agreement with the music bands and customers is also very
important (Aarstad et al. 2016). These agreements are taken very seriously in UK.
CC Music can prevent any false legal obligation if proper paperwork is already
completed.
