Poor management in organizations may lead to unproductive performance and
efficiency of the workforce. However, inadequate information management may affect the
entire enterprise. The selected article for the discussion is Information Management Remains
a Problem for Many Enterprises. According to the selected article, global research depicted
that around 82 percent of respondents involve in navigation through different systems for an
effective version of data management structure (Cmswire.com, 2019). According to the
selected article, around 91 percent respondents reflected the challenges in contributing to
their best potential due to the lack of current document version (Cmswire.com, 2019).
Challenges like poor document labelling, misplaced information and inefficient system
functioning emerge through a lack of focus on incorporating Management Information
system. Numerous organizations are still involved in using outdated methods of storing data
such as file system. Productivity majorly suppers when the production department fails at
storing data and process information in cloud systematically (Cmswire.com, 2019).
For handling the increasing inflow of data in today's business environment, the
Management Information System can be the main saviour. The strategy of productivity and
engagement amongst the workforce, organizations must incorporate collaborated version of
