After a through investigation on the case scenario of FuturePlus, it has been noticed
that most of the organizational operation of the organization FuturePlus performed with
digital devices as well as with the help of internet. Hence, by considering the mentioned
services it is highly important to implement an effective information system which must hold
the capabilities to perform the operations effectively which may include the payment process,
information gathering process as well as other activities in order to enhance the services of
the organization.
Followed by the services of the of futurePlus it has been noticed that it requires an
effective security standard model such NIST standards which provides effective security to
the organizational services. Due to the implementation of the NIST model the organization’s
IT infrastructure will be able to detect, prevent as well as to protect the organizational data.
Since, the organization includes the operations like online payment as well as it also handles
large set of data, hence there is huge impact of cyber security. Considering these aspects, it is
suggested to implement NIST security model in the organizational IT infrastructure
(Kavanagh et al., 2017). Along with the above incorporation it has been also noticed that
there is a significant impact of risk assessment plan into the organization. Hence, it is
suggested to adopt effective risk assessment team which will enable the organization to
implement effective assessment plans which must include an effective risk treatment as well
as monitoring team in order to mitigate the possibilities to risk factors present in the services
of FuturePlus (Laudon & Laudon 2015).
