Introduction
According to Wasson (2015), the development of the activities had helped in forming the
major alignment of the operations favouring the alignment of the operations and inclusion of the
project development. The restaurant of Crinitt Venice is developed for aligning the deployment
of the effective operation development. The implementation of the new system at Crinitt Venice
would help them for integrating the database for all three locations and the project is named as
Integrated Information System Development for Crinitt Venice.
The following report would provide an analysis of the project objectives, defining the
problem, stakeholder identification, change requirements for implementing the waterfall
methodology for the project, system request form, project budget, competitive advantage of new
information system, and possible effects of project failure.
1. Objectives of the Project
The design thinking process has five stages of a complete project plan development and it
includes empathise, define, ideate, prototype, and test. The first step of the method is
‘Empathise’ and it includes the method of gaining empathic understanding of the project
requirements. The project of Integrated Information System Development for Crinitt Venice
would integrate the implication of the activities for forming the analysis of the effective
operation development and alignment of the operations favoring the implementation of the
supportive development of the operations. The objectives of the project can be understood by the
analysis of design thinking methodology for the project of effective role development.

2. Define the problem
The existing system of Crinitt Venice works successively on a larger scale for the
integration of the operations and aligning the effective operation development. The restaurant of
Crinitt Venice has a seating availability of 150 people and they are fully occupied and busy on
most of the nights. The restaurant is overcrowded especially on Fridays and Saturdays and
advance booking is done 3 weeks prior on phone. The complete system of Crinitt Venice is
manual as there is only one computer where the storage of records, menus are printed, and
payroll is processed. The orders are taken manually on the carbon paper and one copy is sent to
kitchen for preparation and the other copy is kept by the waiter that is finally given to the patron
for the making the bill for the customer.
The inventory is also managed by the head chef as he is responsible for the maintenance
of the stock and items required at the restaurant. The major problem for Crinitt Venice is that the
restaurant has been expanding and it had spread to two more locations of Strathfield and
Parramatta. Hence, they require the implementation of the new system for the restaurant so that
they can integrate the working of the three restaurants and roll out a new system for automatic
information processing, generation of bill payment, and mobile application.
3. Stakeholder identification and listing
The stakeholders are those persons in project that are responsible for direct or indirect
operations in the project. The analysis of the activities for the project of Integrated Information
System Development for Crinitt Venice would highlight the implication of human resources for
the project. A number of stakeholders would be required for the development of the effective

4. Change Requirements for Waterfall Methodology
The existing methodology for the project of Integrated Information System Development
for Crinitt Venice is design thinking process that has five stages of a complete project plan
development namely empathise, define, ideate, prototype, and test. It works on the factor of
oscillating between the forwards and backwards of possibility, requirement, and value
development (Kerzner and Kerzner 2017). The design thinking methodology for the operations

would be formed for involving the deployment of the activities. The implication of the existing
development methods would be formed for aligning the implication of the activities for forming
the alignment of the effective development. The waterfall methodology works on the theory of
