The paper aims at describing the information system and the flow of activities that is
executed within the Fibre Fashion industry. Fibre fashion is a fashion industry that has
contributed significantly towards the fashion sector. Fibre fashion has integrated social media
within their organization so that it becomes easy to meet the needs of the customers. The
organization has used wide range of technologies for the purpose of exceling in the market.
However with the growing needs and excessive customers it has been observed that the
organization is facing major issues with managing the data sets. It is very much important for the
organization to identify the key reasons behind the inefficient performance of the organization.
The paper will focus on identifying the issue that is hampering the business process and will
provide a solution for the purpose of enhancing the business performance. With the help of the
report it will become easy to organize the components that are needed for successfully executing
the business performance of Fibre fashion industry. Proper resolution will help achieving the
market value.
Issue within the Fibre Fashion
Fibre fashion is one of the most promising industries in the fashion world. It is important
for the organization to enhance the business performance with proper technologies so that it
becomes easy to maintain the position in the market. The objective is to identify the key reason
that is hampering the overall business functionalities. The major issue that has been identified
within the organization is with managing the data sets using spreadsheet. Spreadsheet is one of

lack of spreadsheet support and there is a need to implement new solution that can enhance the
business performance efficiently. The current information system of organization is facing major
issues with handling the information. However it has been observed that with the increase in
marketing needs and huge increase in customer base, it becomes very difficult to manage the
larger chunk of data in spreadsheets. In addition to this it has been observed that several errors
have been found while executing the data sheets. Thus there is a need to implement an efficient
solution that will be able to meet the requirements of the customers. The issue is considered to be
one of the biggest concerns of Fibre Fashion and thus it is important to implement proper
solution that will be able to ensure that proper security is provided towards the data.
Literature review
Spreadsheet is one of the most efficient tools that are used by the organization for the
purpose of storing multiple data. Fibre fashion has introduced the concept of spreadsheet for the
purpose of managing the marketing and sales related data. However it has been observed that
with the increase in number of sales activities and customers it became very difficult for the
organization to manage the data within spreadsheet. This led to increase in issues within data.
A spreadsheet is the application that allows the users to manually enter the data. This was
one of the main reasons behind increase in the number of errors within the data sets. Due to huge
demand in the market, the organization decided to implement proper resolution for meeting the
target. Spreadsheet is a combination of rows and columns that are used for the purpose of sorting

the data and also allows the users to arrange the data as per their needs. With the help of a
spreadsheet it becomes easy to offer better service towards the users. There are certain
calculations that can be done with the use of a spreadsheet (Jusoh & Ahmad, 2019). Hence it can
be stated that the spreadsheet plays a good role in providing better support towards the
organization activities. There are several benefits that are offered with the use of spreadsheets.
Spreadsheet offers a wide range of editing towards the users. This ensures that with the pre-set
functions it becomes easy to manage the data sets. In addition to these the graphical display of
data can be generated with the use of spreadsheet. Hence it can be stated that the reason behind
using spreadsheet within the organization for such a longer time period is the efficiency and wide
range of features that are offered with the use of spreadsheet. Spreadsheet allows huge features
and ensures that the performance of the organization has been enhanced (Serra et al., 2017). It is
important to understand the way spreadsheet can provide benefit towards the organization.
However there are certain disadvantages that are offered with the spreadsheet. It can be
stated that due to these disadvantages company’s performance can get hampered. The major
issues that are faced with the use of spreadsheets it becomes very difficult to handle large chunks
of data, they can be easily accessed and anyone can edit it. This means that there is no need to
request for any kind of permission (Ojua, 2016). Hence it can be stated that the data sets are
more vulnerable towards the hackers. Moreover due to the nature of manual editing the number
of errors can increase. Marketing and sales data of an organization is considered to be an
essential data. For the purpose of smooth running of an organization it becomes very essential to
manage the marketing and sales related data. Thus it can be stated that without organizing the
sales related data it becomes very difficult meet the market needs. Fibre fashion is facing
challenges due to lack of efficient information system. Spread sheet does not offer efficient

resolution towards the organization. Moreover it has been observed that several leaders are
leading to disruption in the business function. Apart from this the organization also faces the

to manage the overall integrity and confidentiality of the data there is a huge issue faced due to
lack of ineffective resolution and managing the issues. Hence it can be stated that there is a huge
need to implement an effective information system that will be capable of meeting the needs of
the organization and will be capable providing better service towards the customers. The
challenge faced by the Fibre fashion is considered to be one of the biggest concerns as this is
hampering the overall execution of the organization. Thus it is important for the organization to
