INTRODUCTION
Information system is a type of modern technology that support the business process for
increasing their profitability in marketplace. It is integrated set of different components for
collecting , storing and processing the data in effective ways. Windermere college will use the
information system and networks which provided by the consultancy firm networks. It provide
the best facilities and services in terms of education sectors. This assignment will discuss about
the effectiveness of current system of Windermere college and comparison between the current
information system which used by windermere college from the other organisation. Furthermore,
It will analyse the information system which need of different functional area in the business
process. However, there are different benefits of reviewing the performance of information
system and also use the methods in appropriate manner.
Activity 1
Critically compares the current information system that is used by the windermere college with
information system from other organisation.
The current networks information system has just gained a contract with the windermere
college. In this way, college has performed different task in the terms of education field where it
can use for the student enrolment process, tracks the learner progress and achievement etc. The
current information system is reliable, flexible and core efficient to handle any type of task and
operations in proper manner. In windermere college, Managers and other people can use the
system to monitor the performance of different departments and determine whether the entire
campus is meeting the key performance indicators (Agazarian, 2018).
In the retail firms, The current information system is provided the online transaction
facilities to easily maintain the record order data. The system will help to keep track of how the
seller owes a buyer, while accounts receivable system track the details.

Evaluation of management information system is a main part of windermere college that
can use to control or manage the process. The current information system is defined the
effectiveness by the accomplishment of management functions (Guyadeen and Seasons, 2018).
Manager has used the current system to keep maintain the records of students data and monitor

different type of resources needed for the development of information system in

 Economic Feasibility- This type of concept help to measure the cost effectiveness of
whole project. What are the overall cost and investment done by Windermere college.
 Schedule Feasibility- It measure the time scale and interval where how much time
required for project development and completion.
