paper. This paper concludes that the customer satisfaction is the main key of the success of

Introduction
An auto-parts supplier business in Australia is running by Daniel Cox and Jack Greig
for several years. They have some current warehouse management system but the system is
not able to operate the high progressive procedures. The dynamic process can help the
business to store and move the category at the lowest cost and high efficiency. Daniel and
Jack have decided to build a fresh business of Auto-Parts Warehouse Management System.
The main aim of this study is to focus on the new business of the Warehouse Management
that will be embedded throughout the processes of warehouse transformation. This study
highlights on significant operations details of the system and the various functions of the
system such as receiving the orders, order processing, pick up the order, load management of
order, documentation, packing the order and deliver the ordered product.
Discussion
Daniel and Jack both are the business owner of the auto-parts warehouse
management. They are planning to establish a new system to manage the major processes.
This study is raised on the Auto-Parts warehouse development. The development of the new
warehouse management system is very crucial to make the management system very
effective.
Context of information system
Information system for a warehouse management is a storage operation for the entire
process. It stores the goods, the progressive arrangements, and the organization’s
management in a fast response for any problems and it responses in time for any complex

Smidts, 2013). This information system can be classified into four modules:
1) Data management system
2) Database subsystem
3) Storage subsystem
4) Inventory management system
Comparison between various methodologies of system analysis
Warehouse management systems are using wide methods of technologies that strive to
cost reduction, operation of streamline and efficiency improvement. The various
methodologies for the system analysis are as follows:
Machine-to-Machine method (M2M): M2M system helps in monitoring and
streamlining the aspects of the operations of the warehouse. The M2M are combined
with the management system of warehouse, M2M makes the control over all
equipment in the warehouse to fulfill the inventory process.
Pick-to-Light method: This method makes the operations easy, this system is highly
flexible, and this method has the ability to plan, analyze and control the process
(Kubasakova, Kampf & Stopka, 2014). This method gives better accountability with
very less errors. This method increases the productivity of picking the orders.
Put-to-Light method: This method helps in direct operation. For picking the bulk
stock, it is very efficient (Karásek, 2013). This method provides great speed of order
sorting and operation in very less cost. It does not require extra floor space.
Warehouse Robotics method: It is greatly beneficial for the warehouse management.
It increases the volumes of the order, navigation of the products, personalized packing
of order and fast shipping. Robotic method helps in growth of the company with

lower cost and less worker. This method improves the productivity and accuracy in
the order (Bogue, 2016).
Voice tasking method: This is a hand free method. It uses voice command to pick
order, put, receive, shipping functions. This voice method improves the order picking
productivity and accuracy. It needs less training for the operators. This system helps
in improving the control on the warehouse management system.
Different complex situation and problems
The development in warehouse industry has grown rapidly and becoming a major
industry in all over the world. Warehouse managements are utilizing the information system
or the technology for the development but there are some kind of shortcomings that are
arising in the inventory process.
Data connection of the storage system is very poor. The inventory management
systems are fragmented the different system. These systems are closed to the
subsystem and it is not able to carry the information for communication process. The
distributors are not able to grasp the inventory management (Accorsi, Manzini &
Maranesi, 2014). The updating process of the stock is very slow. The transmission is
not occurring in time in warehouse management. This makes the deployment of the
product complicated. It makes the sales work and the follow-up work very difficult.
Inventory management report is not widespread enough. The enquiries of the staff are
very time consuming. It effect in product monitoring and leads the company to the
loss. Warehouse management is increasing the cost of operation and it leaves
potential safety problem (Fichtinger et al., 2015).
The information systems of the warehouse management are not able to integrate and
share the information of the warehouse management. That is why they are not able to

acquire the integration in the financial business. The company can hardly acquire the
real time effect of sharing. As result the information are not delivered in time. This
leads the business to failure.
Capabilities
Information system in a warehouse management provides many capabilities that can be
acquired the business result. The major capabilities of information system in warehouse
management are as follows:
It helps in processing the data fast and accurately. It has a large capacity of storage
and the communication is very fast.
It provides access to the information very quick.
This helps in collaborating and the coordination with the other organization in a less
effort.
The system provides information, which are computerized and it receives the
intelligence of environment and supports the decision making of the company.
It has a supporting learning and memory means it increases the organizational
activities and the memory of the warehouse management. It monitors the daily
practices of the warehouse management and can control it (Atieh et al., 2016).
This information system differentiates between the services and the products. It
represents a simple model of the real object that helps in understanding the
development of the object (Wild, 2017).
Benefits
The information system in the warehouse management is very expensive and complex
system for implementing. Using this system the warehouse management can get the benefit,

control and tracking system of stock and inventory. It provides a great warning technique of
control issues of stock and process (Giannikas et al., 2013). It can generate purchase orders of
the products automatically. It reduces the staff levels and helps in hiring temporary worker in
the peak season.

This study concludes that the warehouse management system can be improved by
analyzing the benefits of the information systems and implementation. A key of the
warehouse company to success is the satisfaction of the customers. The satisfaction of the
customer is emerged on the control of the warehouse management. Information system in
warehouse management allows optimizing the shipment of the goods and the customer
satisfaction. This study highlights on the implementation of the information system and the
up gradation of that system in the warehouse management. There can appear so many
complex situations in managing and controlling the warehouse but some methods and
techniques are there to handle the problem with ease. In every business, there will be many
complexity but the management needs to know the solution for the challenges also. By
choosing the right way, process and analyzing the information system, the warehouse
management can gain the growth in the market.
