Introduction
Business information system in providing the data in which the organization uses to
manage themselves in an effective and efficient manner. Basically it is meant for using the
data which is basically the primary components of business information system that includes
the data and the software in order to ensure better working within the organization. The
company is majorly focuses on having the better decisions by making the appropriate use of
IT system. This aspects must be designed with the view human resource and financial
availability within the company. Big data includes the management of certain data set which
are huge and complex in the business environment. This is the type of analytical aspects of
the business which also helps in the effective working of the company. This includes the
statistical data and algorithm which help them to have the better functioning of the business.
For this respective report, TESCO is the chosen business organization, It is the British
multinational groceries and general merchandise company which is headquartered in
Welwyn Garden City, England. With the help of IT solution, Tesco use the information
system to store and use the data. These are the strategies and the certain technique of IT
solutions that are needed to describe the study.
Task 1: Theories, methods & techniques that are connected to the design &
development for 2 of the IT solutions listed here: (i) McAfee; (ii)
Moodle; (iii) Canvas; (iv) MS Office
These are the technology which is helping the business for expanding their business in
the corporate environment as this also help many firms and there are various IT solutions
which also helps in having the corporate practices in order to planned and develop their
business. There are following aspects which are given below:
Moodle
It is the free piece of software which is being used to promote the e-learning in the
business environment. This also helps in learning platform which offers the educator in the
given platform so that they can have the course structure and curriculum. Learners can use
the Moodle to talk to their communicator with the help of their tutor with the help of internet.
This is being launched by Martin Dougiamas, this is the e-learning platform which also helps
in the online learning to the learners. There is the abbreviation, Modular Object-Oriented
Dynamic Learning Environment. This is being intended not only for the educational
institution but this also helps for the business, compliance, competency and onboarding,

workplace safety training, online course development, hiring and interview process ,
introduction of new goods and services and so on. These are the major uses of the Moodle ad
this is one of the IT solution which is keep growing since pandemic.
MS Office
MS Office is the collection of application which gives the provide the significant
range of services and also help the platform since it boost the overall productivity in given
organization. This is being used in every field and the industry is being related to the business
environment. MS Office is being discovered to be the universal software and also help the
individual and the business in their offices. This also helped in the variety of sectors which
includes the finance, cost-cutting, system security, collaborative working and
competition(Hassanien, A.E and et.al.,2018). It is the technology that is being updated on the
basis of business and also provides the various advantages in the business so that the
company can attains the higher level of profitability. PowerPoint, Excel, Microsoft.

DSS (Decision Support System)
It is the computerized system which is being used in the companies for determining,
supporting and judging the courses of certain actions. This also helps in enhancing the overall
decision-making attributes of the buyers. This is the system which is being used to mid-to-
high level of company in management. It also helps in analyzing the unstructured data to take
the major decisions. Further, it is the automated and manual system which helps in analyses
and determining the data to have the brief information. Ti is the helpful data for evaluating
the different from regular applications as the regular applications majorly collects the data
and GPS route planning is the appropriate example.
ESS (Executive Support System)
This is the software which helps the user to transform the data into senior management
report that is being used for the human you monitor resource management billing and
accounting of the data. This also helps in improving the decision making process which
means the Tesco can effectively take better decision and you and use as their energy in their
different functional areas. It also helps in systematic approach of recording the data and
predicting the future considerations. This particular software saves the time in identifying the

advantage in the market. This also help the company in controlling their strength. Tesco is the

TPS (Transaction Processing System)
TPS is the processing system that is being accessed for the different types of

the time take to process the transaction. This helps in getting results on time with easy

to install this system within the organization as it also helps in providing client with
