Executive summary
The report is presented regarding a project that proposes an airline based system defined as
‘Getaways Travels’ that majorly enables the bookings of flight in simple possible ways. The
entire system consists of several functionalities like searching flights, checking availability,
making bookings, and providing facilities for booking Hotels, Food and Cab. This system is
introduced to make it easy for the user to books their flights in few minutes and very quickly.
This project is in the continuation and through this different challenges are faced during its
implementation. Some amendments are made in the defined project model and its current status
is shared. This following report comprises of project introduction, description of current project
status and determines its introduced changes. The report contains reviews regarding the schedule,
and the risk occurred.
Introduction
‘Getaways Travels’ is the system described in the report that is a user-friendly airline company
allowing viewers to check the availability of flights, book them along with facilities of Food,
Cab, and Hotel booking. The following report defines several amendments that need to be made
an entire project. It defines the recent status of project working and plans executed by the whole
team for its betterment implementation. The entire group plans or creates a schedule describing
the week based targets and plans for upcoming weeks that need to be carried out. It determines
several issues or risk faced along with the review of schedules decided for projects.
Description of any changes and/or description of the status of the project
Currently, the project selected by our team is successfully working and meeting all needs and
user requirements as the members of our team are effectively collaborating with their working
contribution towards this project. Several meetings were organized to discuss the working graph
and growth of this project with all members of the team and a conclusion is drawn stating that
many changes are needed to improve the currently proposed model of the project and its
working. Several specified changes defined for a particular project are:

Several issues related to cab delays are faced so there is a need for the system to collaborate
with different transport companies to avoid those occurring delays.
The system must have a section for FAQ (Frequently Asked Question) where the user can
ask several questions regarding their queries and issues they face during the entire process
(Shaw, 2016).
An option must be developed for users to provide ratings and review of the entire process
they have followed including bookings, security and services provided boarding, journey,
and departure.
The system even provides facilities to the user to track their live locations while having a
journey.
These changes can bring much advancement in the following project which can be easily
achieved when all members of the teamwork collaboratively (Stonehouse, Pemberton, and
Barber, 2001).
Schedule Review
In earlier weeks we have made several planning regarding the project betterment and suggested
many changes and amendments for the same, collaboratively with team members. Amendments
were done in booking system and scope along with determining the behavior of stakeholder and
project budget.
Presently, the project examined and planned is now being executed and the website regarding the
entire scenario of flight booking and the facilities provided is being created. All the details of
regarding the staff members, customer and their classifications, sponsors, distributors, investors,
shareholders, and stakeholders are properly managed and recorded in a database that is created
during this period. The project working like dividing responsibilities and achieving them,
scheduling of project, determining the related risk is being monitored and efficiently controlled
and lastly after the proper implementation of the project is it closed.
In coming weeks, the risk factors of the implemented project are analyzed and assessed and a
quality plan is made and the entire team will work on it. We as a team will do a lot of meetings
to examine the existing project success rate and will develop a assumption to set targets that need
to be achieved successfully (Barnhart and Cohn, 2004).

Risk Review
Currently, the project is working very well but also several factors of risk are raised both
depending on the project and team management. These following risks are determined as:
A lot of confusion is created by the entire team regarding the created websites and its
usability leading to the risk of undesired knowledge regarding the system which directly
affects the working of the project.
The data collected or gathered for the creation of database seems not to be reliable and
requires proper refining of the database by the team members leading to more time usage.
Website related server issues can arise due to which the project has the chances of getting
delayed in its deliveries.
In accordance to the design development, team member faces a lot of confusion as has a
miscommunication within team related to the website designing that generates a great risk for
the project and its execution for betterment (Ding, Shi, and Shi, 2007).
Summary
The report has efficaciously completed the project related to the booking of flight through a
system named as ‘Gateways Travels’ along with providing facilities of the hotel, cab, and food.
The report above explains the successful completion of the project and the current status of
project working and many other discussions related to the project like changes required and
