Introduction:
There are different online libraries available over the internet that are being accessed by
students and scholars all across the world. Free ebooks and journals are available for the students
and college professors to study. However often there are ethical issues that are being cases such
stealing of academic rights of thee documents that are available online. Illegal reselling of these
resources is also another threat. One such online library is the Elviser press. There are other
ethical issues such as leak of personal information over the internet such as pictures and other
information, which are easily accessible to everyone. Ethical issues are also seen in organizations
when there is an implementation of new technologies or upgrades of the existing information
systems. The following paragraph will discuss those ethical issues as well as the standard ethical
code of conducts.
Two important ethical theories:
Deontology is one of the ethical theories, which is a combination of the science as well as
the study of the duty of the online websites including academic websites and the service that the

rationalism, rigorism, absolutism, universality ,autonomy, freedom and dignity as well as realm

on the internet as per their requirements. However, in no way it ever means that the hackers have
to hack and misuse such information.
Professional Codes of Ethics:
Organizational ethical issues are also seen among the employees in different ways such
as employee vandalism, intentional corruption of important data within the organizations by the
employees especially when newer codes or technologies are implemented or existing systems are
upgraded within the work operations. Employees often take advantage of such situations for their
own benefits. Some of the professional code of ethics are explained below:
- Integrity: The employees must always maintain their integrity while making any
business decisions.
- Objectivity: They must also be able to define their goals and objectives clearly to ensure
that the targets are achieved and deadlines met in righteous ways.
- Professional competence and due care: The employees should also be able to overcome
unforeseen situations such as disaster recovery using their professional competence and
knowledge. Management should have pre-planned plans for training and development for
the employees. The employees should never get involved in acts of employee vandalism
even when there are internal faults or issues within the management (American Library

the organization.
- Confidentiality: The employees should respect the privacy of the important
organizational documents such as tax sheets and financial documents. They should never
adopt illegal means and leak information to the outside world under and circumstances
which otherwise should mandatorily ensure immediate termination of the employee.
- Professional behavior: All employees should always exhibit professionally ethical
behavior with coworkers and other stakeholders including the customers. The employees
of the organizations should never accept bribe in any form.
Conclusion:
Therefore, it can be concluded from the above study that ethics plays a very important
role in the lives of the people. It makes them respected by the others and ensures that they are
never answerable to any ethically answerable situations. It is the case with the organizations as
well as well. The employees should be ethically correct while taking any kind of business
decisions that affect the overall business outcome of the organization. They should never be
involved in any acts of accepting bribes from the third party stakeholders as well as from the
customers. This in turn improves the impression that the employees carry both within and
outside their work place.
