REFLECTION
I feel happy and delighted to research on the topic that is “To identify impact of
implementing information technology on productivity along with performance of M&S”.
Through this, I have improved my research skills that are potentials for searching, locating,
extracting, organising, evaluating along with presenting information which is suitable with the
topic. Earlier, I was lacking some skills that are time management, attention to details,
communicating results and problem solving. However, after the research, all these skills are
improved. From the research topic, I have learnt that information technology includes study,
development, design along with support to management through computer based information
system. To undertake research activities, literature review is essential as I believe that it helps in
summarising study that rely on past investigation. To achieve research aims and objective,
literature review is significant. I have analysed that implementing information technology helps
managers of M&S to resolve issues and smoothly run business activities. Key challenges that are
faced by professionals of M&S at the time of implementing information technology are
cybersecurity, networking theft, high cost and integration of systems. For the research, I have
opted deductive research approch as it is emphasis on evaluating information through developing
effective hypothesis and transmitting data into observation test for acceptance of results.
Moreover, quantitative method is chosen for choice of data as it deals with numerical data for
drawing reliable results for the research. I have collected some information through primary
source in which I use of questionnaire approach have helped me to contact with respondents and
gather reliable together with accurate answers for my research.
