Introduction
This report aims to discuss the aspects of the management information system and the
various other automation software. The process by which the management information
system has been applied in the manufacturing, education and the medial sectors is briefly
discussed in this report. The discussion of the benefits of the SAP R/3 in the businesses is
clearly stated in this report. The methods of using the AI in the supporting KMS in the
making correct decision is briefly stated in this report. The judgement of the ethical nature of
the monitoring of the online behaviour and the activities of the employees is briefly discussed
in this report. The decision whether I would spy on the online activities of the employees is
briefly stated in this report. Lastly this report concludes with the appropriate conclusion for
the report.
The phishing attacks has been described as the type of attacks that has been designed
to trick or coerce the targets in providing the confidential or sensitive data any unauthorised
users. The user do not have any idea of the providing the data to the malicious user when the
situation is in progress.
Discussion
Management information system
For being increasingly effective in the dynamic and the competitive business
environment of the present times, any manager is required to think in the mode of a system
(Walsham 2015). The technological innovation has helped in the simplification of the
collection of the data within the sophisticated information systems. In the manufacturing
industry, the management information system is being extensively implemented for the
proper management of various branches of the companies (Wager, Lee and Glaser 2017).

The management information system has been implemented in the education sector
for the proper management and the monitoring of the performance of the education programs
that are offered by any institute and for the management of the allocation and the distribution
of the educational resources. The proper management of the various performance metrics
helps in the development of the educational institutes significantly (Laudon and Laudon
2015). The students could gain the required data from the information system where the
professors and the teachers have stored the data.
The MIS implemented in the healthcare sector is the data collection system that is
particularly designed for the supporting of the management, planning and the decision
making in the health facilities and the organisations.
SAP R/3
The SAP R/3 is the most suitable platform for the business as it is the most
comprehensive set of the integrated business applications and it uses the model of the
client/servers and it offers the ability of storing, retrieving, analysing and the processing of
the corporate data in several methods for the financial analysis, human resource management
and the production operation and many other business processes (Hejazi, Halpin and Biggs
2014). The recent release of the R/3 makes it successful to gain access to the database of the
R/3 as well as the application using the internet access and the web browsers. For gaining
these specific benefits, the SAP R/3 is the best application for the business to deploy and
automate their business processes easily (Missbach et al. 2016).

knowledge management, as it is more present and accepted by the key efforts of the
knowledge officers and the organisations at large. The knowledge management takes the
crucial advantage of the artificial intelligence tools for the capturing, filtering, representing
and the applying of the accurate knowledge (Bond and Gasser 2014). The AI tools offers the
systems of the knowledge management with the facility of selecting, parsing, analysing and
the classifying the texts, automated visualisation and the reasoning for facilitating the
decision making. Moreover, the artificial intelligence offers the methods for processing the
input of the humans like the handwriting and the voice recognition using the advent of the
natural language processing. However, the AI recommender system and the expert systems
helps in the boosting the knowledge management and then offer the gained knowledge for the
using the infrastructure more effectively (Gasser and Huhns 2014). Moreover, the AI assists
the users in the sector of the knowledge engineering and it enables the knowledge workers to
view the benefits in usage of the tools of the knowledge management.
Monitoring of activities and behaviour
According to my views, the monitoring of the activities and the behaviour of the
employees on the internet is not ethical as it violates the privacy of the individuals immensely
and this could lead to the working intention of the workers in the organisation. when any
incident takes place, then the monitoring of the activities of the individuals on the internet
could be done for the determining of the mentality of the individual on the internet platforms.
Decision of spying
It is highly unethical to monitor the activities of the employees on the internet and I
would not encourage the spying of the activities of the employees. The proper security
mechanisms could be implemented for restricting the browsing options for the employees but
the constant monitoring of the activities of the individual could be deemed as the violation of

the privacy of the individuals and the working environment of the organisation could be
severely affected.
In the Apple organisation, several workers were caught accessing the restricted
website in the workplace and severe actions were imposed by the organisation. The
alternative method that I would have taken is the restricting the use of the explicit websites by
the implementation of the firewall in the local connection and blocking the websites.
Conclusion
Therefore, it can be concluded from the above report that the management
information system is being extensively exploited in the recent times for the automation of
the various businesses. The management information system has been implemented in the
