The term “Entrepreneurship” is all about the discovery, assaying, and exploitation of
opportunities in operations of business establishment, creation and growth. Entrepreneurship is
all related to economic growth and renewal, with personnel skills and the growth ability in
oneself. Innovation relates the ability to grow, adapt the changes and exploring the new vibes
and ideas, economic and social aspect of the brains can also be stated. Adding the concept of
innovation to the entrepreneurship makes a huge scope of growth and development. Infusing the
concept of innovation into the operations of a renowned organisation, Icebreaker will result in a
hike of the top line. Icebreaker: A leading brand in the fashion and clothing industry which
focuses on the apparels to be attractive, using natural solutions (Icebreaker, 2019). The brand
makes the new designs in accordance with the requirement, within a period of time. The people
across any geographical area need to have new and raw designs. The concept of innovation is
closely related to the designing of the clothing brand, without it the brand would stop delivering
the new and attractive designs to the public. This can result the brand value and margins in the
market (Maritz & Donovan, 2015). This essay will be relating the importance of the concept
innovation in the business enterprise. Essay will include Icebreaker Company as the base
instance to make a more clear vision to understand it. It will also include the aspects related to
the innovation like education, training, financials and other departments in the Icebreaker.
An innovative idea is always welcomed in any organisation with a view to growing and
as an icebreaker concept. It can also be understood by exploring other ways of performing the
task in a routine manner. It can be in any form like changing the internal structure, sitting
arrangement or just the way of taking up the resources in the organisation. This creates a new
vibe and helps to work. The newness in the organisation is the key to work happily and results in
quality of work. The working environment in the organisation leads to better performances and a

happy employee in the Icebreaker organisation will create some bright and demanding style. The
importance of innovation in the organisation can also be related to economic factors (Galindo &
Méndez‐Picazo, 2013).
Modern economist made the relevance of innovation in the entrepreneurship on economic
growth. Volume and financials can be grown on the basis of innovative product and way
introduced in the basic service industry. The way they explore more ideas, the more they will
lead to the best-interested outcome thus, will rise to financials and economic status. The
Icebreaker works on the concept of using the natural resources instead of the orthodox usage of
manmade fabrics in the apparels they are manufacturing (Onetti, Zucchella, Jones, McDougall-
Covin, & P, 2012). This innovative concept makes this company unique and attractive to its
customer. It hikes the economic growth and adds to financials.
The concept of education and training can also be added with the innovation. The
imparting of knowledge with anyone is termed as education. The way of delivering information
can be changed in the relevant organisation so as to make it interesting and accepting it in a
favorable manner. The information or knowledge grabbing in an interesting manner makes it last
longer in the mind (Foray & Raffo , 2014). A person can recall the concept with practical
examples. Similarly, the training can be enhanced with the innovative idea with new practices in
the organisation. Classroom session or lectureships are quite boring and can be replaced by
activity involved in the real world. Innovative training can help to retain and better learning of
the employees in the organisation (Michaelis, Timothy, Markham, & Stephen, 2017).
The impact of innovation can also be seen in other departments of organisation which can
directly reflect in the top line of the Icebreaker Company, the person behind the scrutiny of

orders received plays a major role in the organisation. That person has to manage all the orders
received he has to take care of the delivery, packaging and assigning the priority to the orders. If
he is following the same method it can make the work hectic and can also delay the work. To
improve this condition we need to modify the procedure of taking orders and prioritizing the
orders. The disclosure of fact related to the products chosen makes the trust of the brand among
the customers. Thus the new ideas here can be also implemented (Entrepreneurship and
Innovation, 2018).
Feedback is also the most significant operation while doing any business. Online trading
can be enhanced via the consumer feedback given by the customers. The innovation can be
applied in the way of taking the reviews by the customer in an interesting way. The marketer can
design the gateway of giving review in a manner in which customer of Icebreaker himself gets
involved in rating the working of the company. The way of getting reviews can be crisp and
sweet such that accepting it in a way of user-friendly and user enjoys while giving away the
ratings and reviews (Doyle, Francis, & Tannenbaum, 2013). Reviews can be taken in form of
options s it is more feasible time saving and it also maintains the interest of the customer.
To an endnote, Entrepreneurship and Innovation are closely related to each other. The
innovation in any organisation maintains its significance due to its usage and still growing worth
in the company. “A person cannot be an entrepreneurship without first successfully innovating” ,
disagreeing to the concept stated , it is not practically possible to be a successful entrepreneur
without being an innovative person while making profits in this competitive world.
