Section 1: Introduction
The below presented report is focused on the competencies and traits of an individual which will
be aiding him/her in the course of creative thinking and innovating. The first competency that
has been selected is creative thinking and ideation trait (illumine.co 2018). This competency is
creative thinking and ideation that is referred as a creative process of generating, developing, and
communicating new ideas and under which an idea can be understood as one of the basic
element of thought which can be in the form of visuals, concrete, and abstract. This competency
also comprise of various traits on which the task is made dependent. The second competency
which has been selected is personal enterprise and effectiveness that can be referred as a branch
of self-help which deals with success, objectives and associated concepts. This competency also
comprises of various traits and that will be aiding the individual in the course of work and action.
The prime objective of the report is to develop a reflective content based on the selected
competencies and traits.

Competency 1 - Creative thinking and ideation
Trait A – Future focused
When leader is trying to do something new and find some difficulties from starting or sticking to
it, then leader should focus on future. It demonstrates interest about new thoughts and potential
outcomes, effectively examining prospects and observing patterns to investigate the world and
predict what's to come.
Leader should ask question about future possibilities but does not collect the information
immediately. Leaders must show the curiosity and imagination to change the trend and
conditions about future possibilities with in giving resources (destination-innovation 2018).
They should focus on future goals and have a creative thinking for future possibilities.

stimulate and motivate each other to produce the good amount of ideas. But they does not create
the many possibility for the customers.
While thinking about the new ideas they must ask about possibilities. When leaders are giving
solution to customers they should have the more creative thinking for problems so that they can
be easily understand by them and can implement on problem.
Now leaders must have various alternative solutions for their problems and they show interest in
alternative possibilities. The problem solution should be fit for approaches. The solution for
problem should be innovative and explore the deep interest for user. Leaders must have wide
range of solution to develop the possibilities and have option.

Leaders take the personal initiative to turn ideas into action, outcomes are focused and
proactively makes thing happens. Leaders needed to become more creative. They take practical
action to deal with a problems or situation (ed.ac 2018). Leader has strong sense of immediacy
for the task.
Now leader must their value with the team members and have interact with them. They should
create the mutually beneficial goals for team and for individuals who are on team. Leaders must
have good connection and trust and respect for them. It is the time to turn the ideas into action.
Now leaders should have a strong imagination for the future goals for future scenarios. They
must research deeply about the possibilities. Leader should have this much capability to change

Now they make the strategy to collect the resources. They should recognize the assets which they
required but the logic and justification required for additional clarity. The progresses of these
plans are not fully realized. They continuously apply for all resources and inputs requires for
