Chapter-1
Introduction
In this present paper, we will discuss the current solution of heat insulation to identify the
problem which can be solved through sustainable and innovation which leads to the
environmentally improved solution. Heat insulation is defined as the reduction of heat transfer
among the objects in thermal contact. The various factors such as global warming, shrinking
snow cover and increase in the level of sea water impacts in various segments in an effective
manner. The paper also describes the research in innovation tools, an evolution of tools, and
comparison of current solution with the present idea using SWOT analysis, marketing of a
product and environmental and social impact.
Current solution
The current effective solution is the production of a product which acts a heat insulator and
utilized the product for the purpose of heat insulation. The heat insulation product can be further
used to convert the stored heat into useful energy. The price of a product is determined according
to the benefits rendered by the product. The major source is the sunlight which can render the
energy, and that can be stored effectively (Kalnæs et al., 2014). Solar panel technology is another
option which can be used to store the sunlight, but the setup cost is unaffordable by everyone, so
production of such product is necessary for storing the maximum amount of energy. The present
available includes Fiberglass, cork and expanded polystyrene.

Identification problems
The problem is identified by the loss of heat due to the absence of proper insulation product
which can consume the energy that can be used for various purposes. The energy resources are
diminishing due to increasing in population because the consumption also increases with the
increase in population. The energy can be utilized for the various purpose for example hot water,
room heater, and others. In the household activities, a large amount of energy is used for
example electricity, liquid petroleum gas and others. The energy will be exhausted by the
consumption on a regular basis.
Chapter-2
Research a successful innovation tool
Brainstorming
It is defined as the process which is used to develop the solutions. It is the technique which is
used to generate new ideas. It helps to develop a large number of ideas of the specific problems
within the particular period of time. The brainstorming has four basic rules which help to
increase the new ideas, namely, focus on quality, innovative ideas are developed, combine and
improve ideas and no criticism (Shi et al., 2015). The brainstorming helps to generate new ideas
in short period with the use of fewer resources. The disadvantage of the technique is that it
generates irrelevant ideas, difficult to express innovative ideas and others. The steps of
brainstorming include the selection of topic, fixed the time limit, prepare a plan, develop a note
and clear all the matter.

SWOT Analysis
The acronym of SWOT analysis is strength, weakness, opportunity and threats. The analysis
helps to appreciate the strength which enables to build competitive advantage, explains the
weakness which helps to minimize them and identify the threats which can be mitigated through
effective management of resources. It plays an important role in the planning of the project. The
strength is the positive factor which helps to expertise in the particular area. The weakness is the
negative factor which impacts on the profitability of the company. The opportunities are the
positive factor which helps to explore new areas, and threats are the negative factors which
include market threats, regulations and environmental threats which impact on the profitability of
the company.
The following figure shows the SWOT analysis:

Decision Matrix
It is defined as the technique which is used to take the decisions. It helps to examine various
options which help to take corrective decisions. It can be used when options must be limited to
one decision, and problem solving can be actualized. It can be used for specifying and
prioritizing the requirements then evaluate the various solutions and chose the best solution
(Abracen et al., 2016). It helps in better coordination, effective utilization of resources,
management of resources and others but it is difficult to develop the cost structure, insecurity,
problem of overspecialization and others. Following is the decision matrix:

Chapter-3
Critical evolution of innovation tools
The three innovative tools are discussed, namely, brainstorming, SWOT and decision matrix.
The brainstorming technique helps to determine the innovative ideas of the specific problem
within the short period of time. It encourages the participants to share the relevant information
which helps to generate various ideas, but it also develops irrelevant ideas. SWOT is defined as
the rational analysis of strength, weakens, opportunity and threats of the company which helps to
take the corrective strategic decision which is based on the financial data. The analysis
oversimplifies the problem because it acts as a summary tool. The decision matrix is used to
determine the critical values with the real numbers. It helps to determine the advantages and
disadvantages of the product, but this tool is not the appropriate tool.
The SWOT analysis is the appropriate tool for among the three tools because the solution will
exist even the product will not exist in the future. It is used to develop the strategic planning and

brainstorming. It is more valuable than other two techniques because it generates the most
suggestive idea. It covers the decision matrix and brainstorming by determining the strength,
weakness, opportunity and threats by considering the suggestive method (Tong et al., 2013).
What is entrepreneurship?
The entrepreneur word is derived from the French word loanword. The term has changed in the
twenty century which is started by taking the risk, leadership, and innovation. It is mainly
defined as the work done with innovative skills to enter into the new sector. For example, the
entrepreneur enters into the specific sector with the innovative skills which helps to differentiate
the product among the competitors within the same industry. The entrepreneur has skills to
achieve the suggestive methods. In this case, suggestive methods are taken which helps to
develop the skills of the entrepreneur.
Chapter-4

It is used to make glass wool, EPS, stone wool, XPS, PU foam, polyisocyanurate and
phenolic foams.
2. Commercial construction
It is used to develop flat roofs, pitch roofs, external walls, cavity walls, and floors.
3. Raw material suppliers
It is used to develop the material related to wall insulation, cavity walls, and others.
4. Plastic
It is used to make polyurethane, EPS, XPS and other forms.

Environmental & social impact
Environmental impact
The production of heat insulation impacts on the environment by building the poor construction
of buildings which impacts on the environmental conditions of the country. However, the public
debates and scientist focus on improving the environmental issues related to the production of
heat insulation products. The public pressure related to the waste management is another factor
which needs to be the concern. The difference between the inorganic fibrous and organic foamy

is another factor relating the impact on the environment. The heat insulation is used to consume
heat which can be used as heat energy for various purposes. The rapid growth of population
leads to the higher consumption of heat energy which needs to be consumed through heat
insulation. The substance used by the company in the production of heat insulation products
impacts on the environment. The government has also declared Environmental product
declaration which is used to verify the non-misleading information regarding the product
(Pargana et al., 2014).
Social impact
The production of heat insulation develops competition among the producers of insulation in the
same industry which needs to develop the marketing plan to differentiate the products from the
competitors. In order to attract the consumers, various promotional activities will be performed
such as the advertisement, free sampling and others (Ingrao et al., 2014).
Conclusion
The heat insulation products are the solution to solve the problem regarding the loss of heat. It
also helps to consume the energy which can be consumed by the future generation because the
population is growing rapidly which impacts on the amount of using energy resources. Three
innovative tools are evaluated, namely, brainstorming, SWOT analysis and decision matrix. The
SWOT analysis is suitable for the current situation and it also covers the decision matrix and
brainstorming. The suggestive methods are used to develop the skills of an entrepreneur. The
current solution is compared with my solution by using the SWOT analysis. The target
