INTRODUCTION
Innovation is the term that simply means implementation of new ideas in order to
generate new product or service. With the growing technology and Research and development
the innovation is becoming consistent part of business enterprise (Yun, J.J and et. al., 2020). The
person coming up with something really new, fresh and raw idea that is never been heard of is
implemented into the form of new product that person is known as innovator. The present report
is the evaluation of personal performance as an innovator to identify the skills and knowledge
required to be an innovator.
Main Body
It is critically evaluated from the research and activities completed at the time of
Professional discussion paper that my performance as an innovator was moderate due to the my
acquired skills and knowledge as an innovator. I analysed that as an innovator I have some skills
which are considered to be my strength and some skills are lacking inside me as an innovator.
But this course has provide me several opportunities during which I have gained some skills as
an innovator that will improve my performance further in future as an innovator. I analysed that
as an innovator I have creativity skills and this skill is my strength. As during my work and
activities I have exhibited the huge creativity as my work was presentable, attractive and was eye
catchy. With the help of my creativity skills I was able to think extraordinary about the
completion of task in most new and different way and also my capability of imagination was in
the sky. The creativity skills also enable me to solve the complex problem in easy way without
any pressure and to make those problem productive problems. With the creativity skills I was
always able to put unique perspective in front of my groups members. Thus creativity skills are
my strength as they help me in performing like a good innovator with good innovation
techniques. I also analysed that my performance as innovator was good due to my another
strength that is observational skills. Whenever I go somewhere for research or just sit ideal I
keep observing things in detail which hep me generation new innovative ideas (Kara, S., 2020).
Due to my high power of observation I am able to keenly grab things fast and take the best out of
it in the form of innovation which is quality of me as an innovator. During my professional
discussion paper I failed at some times due to my lack of some innovation skills and knowledge
which are very essential as an innovator. The most prominent skill that I lack in is the innovative

thinking skills. These are skills that helps an innovator to think in all direction and to brainstorm
multiple innovative thoughts and ideas in order to draw the best one as an innovation. But I have
analysed that I very weak innovative thinking skills that make me restricted to my thoughts in
one particular direction. This lack of skills make my performance weak as an innovator. The
another skill that I am poor in is the entrepreneurship skills when I was performing as an
innovator I was not able to showcase my personality as an entrepreneur as I was less risk taking,
persuasive and also not bold to speak and implement about my innovation. But this professional
discussion paper provide me many opportunity to enhance all my drawbacks in order to convert
them as my strength in future. The paper helped in advancement of my innovative thinking skills
as with the help of research and activities I started expanding my base of knowledge and thinking
which was resulted in the origination new ideas of diversified fields. The opportunity of gaining
and developing the innovative thinking skills made me grow as an innovator and also I felt more
confident at the time of submission of my paper as it was integrated with my innovative
thoughts, creativity and knowledge that I learned during this module. During the course I
developed personally myself as an innovator and also gained the understanding how to use and
implement my strengths as an innovator. During the time I also gained an opportunity to learn
and make myself act like an entrepreneur with the innovator as every innovator must possess the
entrepreneurship skills in order gain commercial benefit of the innovation developed by me. The
module delivered me this opportunity to learn and gain the knowledge of entrepreneurship skills.
During my research and activities I learned many things about innovation and commercialization
in an enterprise which where helpful to me in understanding the things why for me it is very
important to have in depth skills and knowledge about the entrepreneurship skills. Thus, through
this I have gained the entrepreneurship skills which has also made me confident to represent my
ideas and innovation publicly for the commercial purpose also. I also received an opportunity to
learn the time manageable skills because to become the good innovator time is precious and must
be take care of. As delay of time can lead to idea as an old one. Therefore, through this I have
learned time management skills. Thus the whole module has helped to become an outstanding
performer as an innovator and has also helped in to excel my performance in order to grow
personally and professionally in future.

CONCLUSION
It is concluded from the above report that that I have learned many innovation skills
during the course of professional discussion paper. As an innovator I have excelled myself to
great extent in terms of enhancing my knowledge and skills as innovator. The most probable skill
that have gained during the whole course is the innovation thinking skills as this has helped me
to think critically and out of the box thereby expanding my capability to think beyond the limits.
Thus, it is concluded that in order to grow professionally and personally it is very important to
act and think like an innovator in order to perform outstandingly.
