Introduction
The concept of the output, or really the way of the producing or doing the something
in a new and differently manner or making something new to happen, is central to innovation.
Introducing something fresh Hard work is usually required for innovation. Persistence and
endurance are required because many good ideas are never implemented, developed and
thought out. Enterprise refers to the process of identifying various chances for businesses to
earn a profit by bringing competitive advantages to the workplace (Lin, and et.al., 2018). An
entrepreneur, on the other hand, is a person who takes the initiative to start a firm. The report
will cover knowledge and skill required to be an innovator, evaluating personal performance
as innovator and considering opportunities to develop and improve innovative practices.

Knowledge and skills required to be an innovator
The innovator is person who develop ideas and creates the environment in which
employees are provided tools and resources to challenge the status and achieving growth.
Innovators are real leaders dedicated to building dynamic, highly productive, and values-
based organisations that hire people who are passionate about their work, provide
opportunities for growth, make them feel appreciated and respected, and make their roles and
responsibilities clear. To be an innovator it is important to have knowledge of innovation as it
helps in creating tools, sharing and leveraging in the organisation in innovation process.
There are several skills which helps in making an entrepreneur successful innovator which
are as follows-
Observant- As innovator they are able to gain valuable insights by being adjusted
into environment. The innovator is natural affinity to observe and absorb which is not
limited to only office space. Outside of the workplace, the innovator is more likely to
encounter consumers, allowing to observe behavioural shifts and current trends in a
real-world context (Marsden-Heathcote and Finney, 2018).
Curiosity- The successful innovator is inherently inquisitive which always wonder
and question to discover and drive learning. The innovations in this ask question to
understand motives, query current processes and new perspective is generated. They
are closed linked to creativity and curiosity allows innovator to be open minded.

Networking- The one of the most successful entrepreneurs are the one which always
tend to be the well-connected. Their natural curiosity and tendency for asking of the
questions tend to make them terrific as well as conversation starters and the listeners
which is two essential networking traits. Individuals coming from all the set of the
backgrounds as well as the different sectors tend to be make up the finest set of the
networks. This variety and the level of the different exposes tend to supports the
innovators to a wide range and effective set of the techniques and ways of the
thinking, which tend for allowing them to have an open set of the mind and also
supports the expansion of their knowledge base.
Experimentation- Innovators are drawn to the disruptive because they see
opportunities for experimentation everywhere. They are constantly trying new ideas
and putting them to the test, with no regard for the status quo. This exploratory
approach can lead to unexpected discoveries, opening doors to new opportunities.
Innovators recognise that while experiments are unlikely to produce immediate
results, they see long-term benefits and potential for growth.
Empowering leadership- The innovator helps in empowering the other employees
and team members for adopting creative and inquisitive approach in their work. Great
leadership is critical because innovation should be a collaborative effort. While
inspiring and motivating people, leaders should establish a safe environment for them
to try, fail, and learn. Innovators also serve as facilitators, allowing individuals and
teams to actively participate in the innovation process (Mooijman, and et.al., 2021).
Evaluating personal performance as innovator
As innovator I was required to develop the ideas and to bring them reality. To work as
innovator, I learned lot of knowledge about innovation. The innovators are motivated by
change. The innovation was valued as innovator realise that innovation is only way to stay
competitive in the market as organisation value stability and consistency over change which
can resist innovation. while making great discovery and advancing society innovator is risk
take which encourages other to do same that leads to motivation of new ideas and learning
from failure to provide opportunity for growth. I was able to solve the problem by having
imagination as inventing is all about of problem solving which starts by vision.
Opportunities for developing and improving innovative practices

Innovative thinking skills- This skill is must be in innovator as it is ability to come
up with new ideas and new approaches to problems. This brings creativity &
flexibility. It's a difficult to set out and have the endeavour that tend to be entails
devising new approaches to solve the set of the problems or procedures. Innovative is
also tend to be have the lead to a thinking yields outcomes that disrupt or set the have
the challenge the status quo. This includes finding new ways to have the better think
in the workplace to improve business operations for both employees as well as the set
of the customers.
Written presentation skill- In this there must be use of short sentences and keeping
structure simple as audience will listen rather than reading. The flow of presentation
structure leads audience through ideas which help them to draw conclusion (Zhang,
and Wang, 2021).
Critical thinking- This skill is important for an innovator as it helps in improving
functions in workplace by having critically thinking about reasoning behind company
processes. The skill of critical thinking helps in analysing situation and areas for
improvement are identified which helps in maintaining growth-oriented mindset.
Time management skill- Time management is reflecting about the abilities are those
that allow and support an individual to efficiently manage its time as well as support
to have the achieve goals on time. Time management skills can assist in effectively
allocating time and completing activities. Organization, Prioritization is one of the
most set of the critical abilities associated with effective and improved level of the
time management.
Conclusion
From the above it can be concluded that entrepreneur needs innovation to generate
ideas that create value and improve processes. In the workplace innovation skill is asset as
this helps in solving problem and knowledge is advance. The innovation skill can be
improved by taking risk, looking for new opportunities, setting ambitious goals etc.
