INTRODUCTION
Health and social care term refers to service which are available for every individual within
healthcare premises through health and social care providers. Innovation in health and social care
can have high benefits to every individual. This can allow to use different latest new technology
and operation that can provide opportunity to deal with worsening health and condition and help
in improving patient declining health (Yamin, (2018)). Innovation allow to use new operation ant
technology to perform any task that help in getting advance use of technology and methods.
Through innovation, it can help in service improvement that help to achieve better improvement
in the delivery of health and social care services. Though using the innovation, there is need to
implement change within organisation which can help to use the innovation with maximum
potential. In this report, there is discussion about interpreting change model which are relevant to
the service improvement for wider health and social care sector (SKORKOVÁ et. al., (2020))).

To implement innovation within health and social care there is need to ensure about
implementing change within organisation (Al Mansoori et. al., (2018)). In this, health and social
care sector need to use the change model that can be effective and help organisation to use it
effectively for getting better implementation of change with high benefits. There is various
change model that have the potential to use in effective way to achieve better outcome within
health and social care sector. This may include ADKAR change management model, The
McKinsey 7-S change model and Kotter Change management model that can have high impact
through applying these in health and social care sector (Nomani et. al., (2020)). Through
applying any of this change model, health and social care sector can provide better outcome and
enhance the delivery of services for the patient health improvement. Through applying change
model can allow to improve the quality of service which can help in getting improved health and
improve quality of life.

McKinsey 7-S model- This is an organisational tool which is effective and provide
assesses the wellbeing along with future success of company. This includes seven different
components within organisation which should work together for the effective change
management. This may include structure, strategy, style, staff, shared values, systems along with
skills (Mawer et. al., (2019)).
Strategy- This is one of the elements in which change manager identifies the area where
change should be implemented. In this, there is need to ensure that outcome should be expected
and positive. After identifying area of improvement it can evaluate that high outcome should be
delivered through implementing change and avoiding least value things to consume effort and
time on those things which are not effectively valuable for the organisation.
Structure- This is the one in which there is need to ensure about the physical organisational
structure which can be adopted by the organisation to comply the organisation to implement
change within organisation within health and social care sector (Saini, (2021)).
System- In this, there is need to ensure about the organisational policy along with
documentation. there is need to ensure about getting revaluation of the way which can help
company to ensure about fulfil the needs within health and social care sector. Change manager
should play their role to identify the obstacles which can lie during implementing change within
health and social cars sector. This can help in effectively dealing with those obstacles where it is
