some entrepreneur. Innovation is term that refers to the generation of something new in order to

a chain of café's based in Birmingham England, UK. The report will discuss the nature of
innovation and idea generation and common factors that lead to innovative success or failure

Innovation: Innovation is the process by which the business owners and their employees
conceptualize new product or process in the market or the company (Shao and et. al., 2020).
Innovation by its nature is risk oriented but bring the creativity, growth and success to the
organisation. Patisserie Valerie is the chain of café's that is famous for different types of cakes as
per the occasions in different flavours. The Cafe also severs the afternoon tea, coffee and wraps
and sandwiches at its dining. The cafe highly believes in innovation and consider it as the
fundamental part of the company growth and success. The innovation has nature of brining new
products, enhancing quality of product of the organisation. Innovation can be tangible or
intangible depending on its type. In Patisserie Valerie the innovation has both he nature. As the
chef of the cafe bring innovation to both process and product.
Idea generation: the term refers to the process of originating new creative ideas that has the
potential of solving the problems of the organisation or world outside or can improve the recent
product conditions or of the company itself. Idea generation is the creative methodology and
