1.0 Introduction
Innovation skills refer to those critical skills that tend to be one of the effective skills
when being engaged in a variety of workplace practices. Taking contrast to the contemporary
business environment better application of innovative skills or innovation can guide the effective
course of action to be produced within the economy (Saeed and et. al., 2019). The provided
discussion paper includes an evaluation of personal performance as an innovator that enables
development of future personal innovation skills as well as knowledge (Büyüközkan and
Karabulut, 2018).
2.1 Evaluation of personal performance as an innovator
The first impression of various tasks assigned to me as an innovator was highly puzzling
because everything was new to me and I was unable to connect all of the learnings at the outset. I
was given a range of assignments to complete during the course, including several tasks and
related activities for which opportunities were being provided with regards to Written
presentation skills, innovative thinking skills, critical thinking skills and time management skills.
I was able to improve my research abilities by engaging in such activities, but understanding
unpredictable business marketplaces proved to be difficult for me as well. This is consistent with
the effective basis of learnings and the derivation of coordinated actions with regard to executing
activities in a modern corporate environment (Jiang and Chen, 2018).
For the stated module variety of activities were being produced that were in regards to
deriving key skills that helped me to deliver a better output of results from the investment of the
rational amount of input as a resource. In the given context, key considerations to the
development of critical thinking skills were being enhanced. For this, I was able to deliver
creative understandings of tasks requirements and enhanced my abilities when being engaged
with a variety of workplace tasks. For a variety of workplace tasks, I was able to integrate my
capabilities as well as efforts with innovative skills. This created a decent impact on the
performing of workplace tasks that facilitated productive working.
2.2 Opportunities to develop innovative practice over time
The development of innovative practices at a workplace proves to be one of the greatest
practices over a period of time. Taking contrast to the contemporary business world better
initiatives can be taken into consideration for which success in business plans and relative

times of working in a business environment. There could be unexpected occurrences
caused due to internal and external market forces. This will also create effective
opportunities for innovators working at the workplace.
2.3 Improvements in innovative practices over time
Over time there were several changes that were occurred recently in terms of workplace
practices within the business environment. Therefore, sometimes innovative practices within the
workplace can show lower impact while performing operational tasks at the workplace. In
inclusive of the concept better terms can be considered for which improvements could be made
to enhance better practices of innovation while approaching workplace objectives. Following are
some improvements that can be made with respect to practices of innovation over a period of
time (Nabat and et. al., 2020);
Tracking innovation to core value: The foremost improvement that could be made are
inclusive of setting effective pathways that derive productive outcomes of innovation that
direct completion of core business goals. In the process being efforts are made by
supervision of the workplace that ensures excessive innovation doesn’t lose track of core
business goals as well as objectives.
Training: Through the establishment of productive training platforms at the workplace
significant improvements could be made with respect to innovation practices over a
period of time. It will deliver coordinative efforts that will direct the effective flow of
business operations taking into consideration better supervision of activities within the
operational firm.
Feedback process: In this proper initiatives can be taken that coordinate better in terms of
