2INNOVATION AND THE SUSTAINABLE ORGANISATION
Reflection
Innovations in the organizations assist the same in gaining a competitive advantage over
the existing players. Continuous learning assists an organization in initiating the innovative
processes while holding on to the changing trends. The continuous learning mechanisms of an
organization through the utilization of Big Data analytics and market assessments assist the same
in initiating the operations while holding on to the demand of the customers. On the contrary, I
believe that the CSR activities that are commencedby an organization in holding on to the triple
bottom line approach of economic, social and environmental needs. I believe that the
development of different activities and processes that are considered by the organization are
dependent on the market assessment of the demand for the same.
During the research evaluation I found that the assessment of the major trends in the
industry assists an organization in initiating the sustainable operations with the aim of gaining a
competitive edge in the markets. Continuous learning assists an organization in initiating the
resources with the aim of enhancing the effectiveness of the operations in adherence to the
demand of the customers. The economic sustenance of an organization assists the same in
continuing with the operations of the same through enhanced profitability. I believe economic
sustenance of an organization assist the same in initiating the competitive edge while retaining
the loyalty and trust of the consumers on the brand. The enhancement of the economic
sustainability factors assist an organization in initiating the operations that are commencedby the
same for keeping up with the uninterrupted functioning of the same.
The environmental factors, according to me, assist an organization in initiating its
resources and guiding the process designs towards green approaches. Again I believe that the

environmental sustenance related activities of an organization supports the enhancement of the
brand image related needs of the same. The adherence to the regulations that are developed by
the environment protection agencies assist the same in keeping up with the effectiveness of the
operations in adherence to the sustenance related needs of the venture. On the contrary, I believe
that an organization operates in social scenario where empowerment to the consumers and
enhancement in the lifestyle will assist an organization in initiating mutual benefits for the
organization and the community stakeholders. The enhanced affordability of the community
stakeholders will assist an organization in locating potential buyers for the products and services.
On the contrary, the social structure is benefitted through the operations that are commencedby
the organization. Therefore, I believe that the sustainable operations that are commencedby the
organizations assist the same in retaining their brand for a longer time in the markets. On the
benefits that are gathered by the organizations and the communities assist in initiating the
balance of interests.

organization assist the same in enhancing the innovativeness with the view of keeping up with
the competitive edge in the different markets. The R&D operations of an organization is
dependent on the assessment of the market and the manner in which it supports the smooth
functioning of the systems. de AndrésAlonso, GarciaRodriguez and RomeroMerino (2015)
stated that the market assessment assists an organization in identifying the major trends in the
industry and thereby maintains the proficiency of the operations. The economic stability of an
organization thereby assists the same in initiating the sustenance of the same in the competitive
markets (Atkins 2016).
On the contrary, Millar (2016) opined that the social sustenance of an organization assist
the same in initiating the communities through diverse range of activities for ensuring mutual
gains. The mutual gains of an organization is based on the fact that the improvements in the
social conditions would allow the venturein keeping up with the smooth functioning of the

this relation, is dependent on the development of employment related options which would assist
a venture in empowering the lifestyle of the people and the affordability of the same (Keating

However, Omar, Leach and March (2014) noted that the growing concern for
environmental conservation and preservation mandated the organizations to follow stringent
regulations for keeping up their operations through the utilization of green approaches. Li (2016)
