Introduction
Some various processes and techniques contribute to the attribute of innovative thinking of a
person or his or her employees. This position essay will discuss some of these processes and techniques
that contribute to innovative thinking for one’s employees. The essay will also pay attention to the
innovative processes and techniques required for one to be creative innovatively. This position essay will
mainly focus on the individual mind and idea regarding the processes and techniques which can be
applied in contributing to innovative thinking, especially in business. The following are some of the
processes and approaches analyzed in the essay;
Analysis if the market place process and technique
This is one of the techniques contributing to innovative thinking employees. To make the
business advance and move on, their analysis of the market place equips the employees’ skills that will
enable perform better in their activities (Plessis, 2017).
Analysis of the marketplace provides one on how to evaluate the potential of the employees.
This is supported by the process of welcoming all the ideas regardless of how outlandish it could
be. This technique involves putting all the ideas before the colleagues to make sure that they are all
discussed and the right decision made (Dezi, 2018). This technique contributes much to expanding the
creativity and innovation capacity of the individuals and their employees.
Process of tolerance and learning from the past mistakes
The process and technique of understanding and learning from past mistakes is the essential
process that contributes much to the development of innovative thinking to individuals as well as their
employees. It is through the past mistakes that one understands where to improve and where to put more
emphasis on. Employees learn from the errors they make in their way (Corso & Paolucci, 2011). It is an

excellent idea to learn from the past idea and develop strategies on how to avoid the repeat of the same
mistake. This process of learning from the past idea is the critical component that contributes to
innovative thinking as one thing of the alternative ways to do things right.
Encouragement of the interactions
Interaction between individuals with other business owners of amongst the employees from the
different departments or organizations is an essential technique. Interactions results in news ideas
borrowing. People learn from others, and therefore the process of allowing employees to interact among
themselves or with the other employees from various departments or even organizations contribute to
innovative thinking (Kim, 2012). Employees do study how others are doing things better, and by so do
doing, they may even think of doing the same thing even better, creating an atmosphere of innovation. It
is through interactions of the individuals or employees that they get ways of doing things better or even
inventing other ways to do even better. This is one of the techniques that create room for innovation either
in the business or in the organizations.
Embracing of the alternatives
Looking for ways to do things differently is good spirit and habit among the employees and
business owners because it contributes to their innovative thinking. Focusing on Alternative techniques of
doing things calls for high innovation and thinking capacity. It requires one to think deeper about how
they could do things in different ways. This spirit of alternative methods is so important to be embraced
within the employees of owners of the business because it opens up their minds to accommodate new
ideas.

This is one technique that high contributes to innovative thinking among the students or even their
employees (Martín-de Castro, 2015). This is the process of denying to be controlled by the ideas of
people but instead buying their attention to your designs. This mostly involves influencing and
convincing people to buy one's ideas (Popadiuk & Choo, 2016). This is an essential technique that
contributes high to innovative thinking. Through influencing others and employees get corrected, and this
helps him/her develop some other strategies that will deal with the already fixed mistakes creating the
atmosphere of innovation.
Conclusion
In this position paper, I have learned that the techniques and processes contributing to the
innovative thinking of the individual students or even their employees are determined by self-
determination and eager to know more. I have understood that one needs to be ideologic and develop the
spirit of recognizing and performing what others did not even think about. I believe innovation is all
about coming with the new idea, and therefore this should be embraced in all aspects of the business-
oriented plans. The processes and techniques that contribute to the development of innovative thinking
need a self to understand focus to know more about things or activities are done.
