Scope: What activities and tasks as defined in the project must be
done in order to make the project a success?
The major things that needs to be decided in order to make the project
success are the factors that has been mentioned below-
Cost- This is one of the important element as effective cost management leads to
support the planned budget throughout the project (Dhaiban, 2018). The estimated
cost of the project is £400.
Scope- The scope of the project is wider in terms as it is aligned with the analysing
the importance of the innovated digital workspace at Deloitte
Time- Time management is highly important as it can lead to impact the over-all
outcomes of the project. Therefore, it is important to specify time so the selected task
can be completed in specified time. The time for current project is estimated up-to 4
weeks.
Methods- Researcher will use the quantitative method in context of conducting the
research. Data will be collected within using both the sources primary and
secondary. In the primary method the questionnaire will be performed whereas in
secondary method articles and journals is being reviewed.
Quality- The quality of the current project will be high in terms as quality is being
maintained while conducting questionnaire, accurate candidates will be selected. In
secondary research, quality will be maintained within using valid sources.
Risk- The risk which is involved in the project is related to time management and
ineffective budget management. This risk leads to create direct impact over the
outcomes of the project. Therefore, these risks needs to be managed. Time
management can be done within specifying time period to each task and risk related
to budget will be maintained within making pre-planning in relation of other extra
expenses.
Communication- In context of implementing effective communication throughout the
project, communication will be done within using e-mails and face to face interaction
will be maintained.

Resources- This refers to the mandatory assets that are needed by the researcher
in terms of performing the task of the project. Thus, the major resources that are
required by researcher will be, financial, digital and human resource.
Milestones: Major events or phases in the project
Project estimating- This has been considered as the estimation phase where
project manager will decide about the team members and their accountabilities. This
phase is highly important as it can impact the final outcomes of the project. If the
project estimation is not done in effective manner then, it impacts the task of the
project.
Setting up project team- The second phase is setting up the team. When the
members are being decided and on the basis of the ability of the members, task has
been given to them (Aartsengel and Kurtoglu, 2017). Afterwards, the team has been
set up as there are different team required in order to complete the project and all
the teams are the part of one major team.
Scheduling task- The next phase is aligned with scheduling the task. All the task
that are required to complete the project and ensuring effective outcomes have been
scheduled so, the members can be easily understand it. Thus, in current project the
task has been parted within using gantt chart and work breakdown structure.
Balancing project priorities- This phase focuses on those aspects which are highly
important for the project. The priority task is being highly focused so, no error can be
arise and outcomes can be delivered in effective manner (Heagney, 2018). In current
project the priority task has been taken at first within considering as primary task.
Scheduling- After considering the priority task again scheduling of the task needs to
be done so, proper idea in relation of performing task can be gain and efficient
outcomes can be delivered. Thus, in this project after considering the primary task
scheduling will be performed so, it can be known that, from primary task which task
needs to be performed at first.
Strong project closure- Strong project closure is the last phase and event which is
also highly important. It helps in assuring that all task has been completed and the
project has delivered the outcomes. This can be done within using the techniques
such as- PRINCE2, PMO and so on techniques.

Details of activities to be carried in the project
Initiation- This has been determined as the first stage of the project. It is highly
important as in this helps in determining which is needed to do in the project. Also
what will be final outcomes of the project has been determined in this phase (Molaei
and et.al., 2021). In the current project in this phase the major elements that needs
to be performed while analysing the importance of innovative digital workspace at
Deloitte will be taken in consideration.
Planning- In this activity, plan in relation of each activity that has been set at initial
phase is made. This helps in making effective plan and also provides the assurance
of effective outcomes. The roles and responsibilities in being define under this. In
current project the priority of the task has been decided and panning will be made in
accordance with that.
Execution- This has been defined as that activity in which the actual work is being
done in order to deliver the final outcomes. It has been often reviewed whether the
tasks are performed on the basis of planning or not (Freitas, 2019). Thus, in this
stage the actual research in relation of knowing the importance of innovative digital
workspace at Deloitte will be done.
Monitoring and controlling- This phase is related to the evaluation of the task in
order to find out the error so, the proper action can be taken and no negative impact
can be created over the final outcomes. Thus, in the current project monitoring and
evaluation is being performed from initial stage so the error can be known and
proper action can be taken.
Closure – This is the last stage of project management cycle, in this the closure of
the project has been performed so, it can be known that all tasks have been
completed. This will be done when all the task of the project will be performed and
outcomes will be delivered (Handke and et.al., 2019).

Work breakdown structure- Work breakdown structure has been determined
as the structure that enables project manager to breakdown the major activities of
the project in different parts (Burghate, 2018). Within using WBS proper

research topic. It provides the brief description in regards to the selected themes and
effective understanding can be gain with the help of this. Critical analysation is being
performed with the help of literature review. Different opinions of the authors is being
reviewed in order to form the judgement. The present chapter is aligned within
performing literature review of the selected topic which is analysing the importance
of digital workplace at Deloitte. Three themes will be shown which will cover the
concept of innovative digital workplace, technologies used by organizations while
transformation and the importance of digital workplace for organization. The critical
analysation of the themes will be done and an opinion will be made which will justify
about the importance of digital workplace for Deloitte.

is being used at innovated digital workspace which has been proven highly beneficial

as well. Companies completely depends upon the technologies in terms of
performing the functions. However, this dependency has been often proven as
negative because without it company cannot perform its operations. Thus, digital
workplace leads to create both the positive and negative elements. In the views of
Stepnov, (2021) the benefits of innovative digital workplace are higher in comparison
of the negative points which clears that, it supports the growth and development
rather than creating higher negative points. Creating higher productivity in
employees which automatically leads to create the higher productivity of organization
supports the growth and development of the over-all business. Thus, it can be said

and assures numerous benefits as well.

The final conclusion that is being arrived within analysing the themes of the

beneficial for the organizations as it leads to support the growth and development. It

large scale. This has been the major concern which is related to effectively
developing the research in signified and in appropriate manner by competing the
research at large scale (Pandey and Pandey, 2021). This helps in developing the
research related to the techniques and the ways the research is being conducted

Research approach is defined as the plan and procedure for the research which is
being conducted at large scale which consists of the small steps in the detailed
methods including the data collection analysis etc. There are two types of research
approaches and these are – Inductive and Deductive approach. The researcher will
be using inductive approach which is qualitative method taken for the research to be
conducted appropriately. The research approach helps in creating value for the
