Creative Assignment
AI Summary
This assignment focuses on redesigning letterboxes to meet the demands of modern mail delivery, particularly with the rise of online shopping and larger packages. It employs the SCAMPER technique (Substitute, Combine, Adapt, Modify, Put to other uses, Eliminate, Reverse) to generate a range of innovative ideas. These ideas include substituting the roof with a door for easier handling of larger parcels, combining fingerprint sensors for enhanced security, adapting polymer materials for weather resistance, modifying the letterbox size for varying package dimensions, repurposing the letterbox as shelter for street animals, eliminating wooden or metal frameworks in favor of polymers, and reversing the letterbox's function as a den for animals. The assignment concludes with a recommendation for implementing a door system and fingerprint sensor for improved product delivery and security.

SCAMPER
S: (Substitute): Roof of the letter box can be substituted by a miniature door system. With the
help of the door system, putting in and fetching of large products can be done with higher ease.
This section will lead to the consequence that the large parcels that are to be transacted can be
done.
C: (Combine): Combining finger print sensor in the projected door of the letter box. In case a
finger print is located in the door of the letter box the authenticity pf the carriage will be present.
This is one of the main aspect that will take into consideration the security of the entire system.
A: (Adapt): The material that is to be used for developing the letterbox must be polymer in
nature. With the help of the polymer usage the main advantage that will be received includes the
fact that the weather condition will not affect the sustainability of the letterbox. In case of rain
and heat the letter box will not get affected.
M: (Modify): Modifying of the letterbox as per the size of the requirement will be beneficial in
the prosecution of the letterbox management. In case the size of the product to be delivered is
bigger than the letterbox it then the viability of the project will decrease. This will lead to the fact
that the management of the product delivery will become a problem
P: (Put to another use): With the help of the doors that will be set in place of the roof, and in case
there is no product to be delivered, it can be used for sheltering the street animals in times of
disasters. This will be benefitting the animals as well. This is the main reason that prosecution of
the entire process will get performed in a better manner.

E: (Eliminate): Elimination of the wooden and metal framework must be changed. Polymers
must be used for better prosecution of the letterbox. With the help of the polymer the longevity
of the letterbox will increases.
R: (Reverse): Reversing of the letterbox will be enacting as the den for the street animals as it
will be having doors.
Recommendation
According to me the best idea that will be projected is substituting roof with door. With
the help of the implementation of the door, the main advantage that will be present includes the
fact that the management of the product delivery will get better. This is the main reason that the
commencement of the project. In case the products that are different in size the door system will
be beneficial. Another issue that will be present includes the implementation of the finger print
sensor. With the help of the finger print sensor, authenticity of the product delivery can be made
better.
