INTRODUCTION
There are several challenges and issues faced during the pandemic as well as online classes
which affect students performance. It is essential to determine and analyse the problems which is
created due to pandemic challenges in order to determine accurate solutions. It has been analysed
that COVID 19 pandemic has affected several industries in the world along with the education
system (Choi and Chiu, 2021). Due to this education process has been influenced and leads to
enhance online classes. Students has faced number of issues and problems during online classes
and influenced studies and learning practices. In pandemic situation the major decision taken is
keep social distancing in order to stop its spread. This report is based in topic Social challenges
faced during the pandemic and online classes. In this report problems is identified and analysed
effectively and innovative solution to this problem has been determined. Apart from this user
needs has been determined.

Problem identification
The problem identified in this report is COVID 19 pandemic situation is the social
challenges faced during the pandemic and online classes. This is one of the greatest issues that is
faced by society or individual. This lead to have major consequences for the world poor and
vulnerable in terms of public health crisis on health as well as mortality. In this situation there
are several discrimination practices are performed to the people who are covid positive.
Discrimination and corona virus has made them week not only physically but also mentally. This
social issues has influence several lives (Ismaili, 2021). This will lead to have direct impact on
social, economic and political systems. The major consequences of this pandemic situation are
social issues and online classes. Due to this individual is not able to carry out its day to day
activities in significant manner as well as affect their performance. The challenges of social
safety and security in order to enhance health of individual. It has been determined that the
situation of covid 19 pandemci has forced the entire world to rely on online classes. The crucial

social issues during this pandemic of corona virus disease 2019 has negatively affected the life
around the globe. Due to this individual had to change their style of living and conduct day to
day activities in different manner with the motive of reducing spreading of COVID 19. This
includes isolation, social distancing, contact restriction and economic shutdown impose a
complete changes with in psychosocial environment aspects. This has majorly threaten the
mental health of children and adolescents. In this situation it has been determined that students
are not able to go to school for several months which has affected their leaning practices. This
pandemic has created challenge for education system as due to lockdown schools and university
has to conduct studying activities form home. This has enhanced online classes practices for
students and teachers as well.
Online classes are very effective for conducting education and learning practices but
along with this it includes several challenges and problems also. The major issues which is
included in this is conducting assessments (Miller, Sellnow and Strawser, 2021). It is very
complicated to assess a student in right manner during learning activities. it has been analysed
that assessing is one of the crucial elements of learning practices and it should be performed in
right manner. it is the integral component of the education system. In online classes it is very
challenging for student carry out assessment practices. Teacher have to provide multiple choice
questions. Due to this mechanism is still feasible as a stop gap where as in real learning its
measured by conducting a subjective assessment. This can be consider as the one of the major
challenge that has affected traditional education system as in this education technology solutions
that are predominantly MCQ based. Another issues online security of data and information. This
is one of the crucial issues which is related to the concern regarding data privacy and security.
There are different platforms which are consider by teachers to conduct online classes. This
includes platforms for example Zoom and Google classroom. These platforms are more really
safest and this can not be consider as the most effective tool in order to secure the purpose of
learning. In this situation teachers and students have lack of information to use technology for
online classes. Due to this students are not able to take online classes and reduce their attention.
For many people it is hard to correctly use laptop or computers for taking classes through
different media platform (Gonzalez-Ramirez and et.al., 2021). So lack of understanding and
information about the about technology and tools of internet is the crucial problem that has
affected online classes. It has been analysed internet connection is also lead to create major

impact on learning activities and performance of a student. It is difficult for a learner to pay
attention in online class due to several reasons such as home environment, less focus, internet
connectivity and so on. Due to this students are not able to correctly conduct learning practices.
Innovative Solution
It is essential to consider new and innovative solution in order to successfully and
effectively deal with the issues. Innovative and creative solutions are useful for correctly
overcoming with the problems of social challenges during pandemic and online classes. It has
been that government needs to take correct and proper decisions in order to overcome with the
social issues of Covid 19 challenges. Proper and accurate guidance is significant for reducing the
spread of Corona virus and it will assist in overcome its issues. Online shopping for purchasing
products for home or personal use is also innovative solution in order to deal with the challenges
in significant manner (Rehm, Daly and del Fresno, 2021). Through this individual will be able to
full fill their needs and requirements without going outside. For conducting online classes it is
important that schools and university is providing proper training to its teachers and students so
that they can use online classes tools and media in appropriate manner. This will lead to have
positive and significant impact on dealing with the challenges of online classes during pandemic.
It is essential that teachers are consider new and creative approaches of teaching so that
individual learners will be able to focus on the studies. It is important that teacher is paying
attention to all students and analysing their learning activities in proper manner. This innovative
solution will lead to have major positive impact on conducting learning activities as well as
meeting with the learning needs of learner. It is essential to consider effective and new
technology in order to successfully deal with the challenges as well as conducting online classes
in more safe and secure manner.

Based on the current study and analysis, it has been seen and find out that many social challenges
and issues related with the maintaining the social distancing and sudden lockdown has been
faced during the times of the Covid-19. It has been seen that the isolation and issue of
depression due to increase in the number of cases and death that has been characterized by

low mood, tiredness, pessimism, poor sleep, and appetite, feeling helpless, guilty, and
hopeless, with a gradual reduction in work has been find out (Choi and Chiu, 2021). The
biggest challenge that has been identified and seen during the time of covid-19 pandemic
comprise of the high level of discrimination termed as social stigma during the times of
Covid-19 pandemic has been seen where a particular group of people who are covid positive
tend to face many issues and challenges in form of isolation along with a sense of
discrimination from the society.
Thus, based on these social issues comprises of isolation and social distancing norms, need of
online and digital form of solution has been aroused. A high demand and need for digital
and online services has been emerged in all sectors including the most basic need such as
food and medicine. Thus, online retiling services has become most vital need of the society
at the time of covid-19 to ensure more effective supply of the food items and other necessary
products. Along with this, educational and study of the people of the people has been also
greatly affected during the time of the Covid-19 (Trancă, 2021). Thus, a need for online
classes and digital education has been also seen and identified during the times of the
pandemic. It has been seen and analysed that the lack of proper technology assistance and
effective underdoing and awareness among the society has been also seen during the time of
pandemic that creates the need for having improved technical supports and creating higher
level of awareness in people regarding online classes and other form of digital services to
overcome and mitigate the issue of isolation and depression during the time of the pandemic.
Thus, need for more effective social networking and online interaction level has been seen
and identified during the times of the Covid-19 to ensure better communication and
interaction among society while following the norms of the pandemic. Along with this, a
higher level of demand for online classes that are more secure and effective in providing all
the required resources and information for students to support digital learning has been also
needed to o overcome the social challenges that are faced during the online classes. Along
with this, the need for improved technology comprise of fast internet, cloud computing
services and secured anti-virus and safe mode of payments has been also emerged to
overcome the issue of hacking as vital user need to support more effective online classes that
are secure and more interactive to enhance the knowledge and underdoing level. Apart from
this, use of digital platforms and online channels has been an essence and vital for all parts

of society to ensure a safe and physical interaction free access to various services that has
created need for more secure and safe mode of payments to mitigate the risk of frauds and h
caking at the time of covid-19 pandemic. Thus, ensuring effective use of technology and
digital tools along with other online channels has become a vital need during the time of this
pandemic to supports effective online classes and mitigation of issue of assignment
submission and other challenges faced (Chen and Roldan, 2021). Along with this need for
technology improvement has been also aroused for mitigating isolation issues through
creating effective social networking to secure an improved digital interaction while
following the norms and set rule of social distancing during the time of Covid-19 pandemic.
CONCLUSION
Based on current proposal, a summarisation can be made that the various challenges are there
that are faced during the pandemic which has affected the several industries and education
system across the world. Maintaining social distancing and sudden lockdown are the main
challenges faced at the time of covid-19 that has created the social issue of isolation and
depression along with lack of effective education and understanding level that created to a
scene of social stigma in the society. Finally, a summarisation can be made that the use of
innovative technology and improved sources of online and digital platforms has been needed
to ensure better social networking as well as to mitigate the challenges faced during the
online classes.
