(Look Around the place) Graduates, families, friends it’s an honour that you are present here
to join the celebration of No. of graduation ceremony of the (Name of the school).
Life has hold of many good and bad secrets and it only unfolds if one is genuinely
passionate or hungry about it. For this reason, it is very important for one to stay true to
oneself because nothing stays permanent but you and your relation to yourself. In my life, I
been through many vicissitudes of life, my family had once enjoyed the affluence status but
as I said, nothing stays constant, that period also ended soon. The situation got so severe that
we had problem in paying the school fees and since I was the youngest, I always felt
helplessness because I could not make myself useful to the family. However, I am fortunate
enough for I have three loving sisters who took the entire responsibility of supporting our
family and provided for things I need. Our situation were becoming stable for my sisters but I
still left helpless and that intrigued me of starting a business. I would not say that thing were
laid in a platter for me because my first attempt in business world became a failure. I even
joined many forms of social work and became a leader of volunteering teams so that I could
assist more people but in this process my studies and my desire to be in a university took a
backseat. I took it like a challenge so I made a second attempt in business and everything was
happening when I was twenty years of age. As I already said, life is like a box of secrets and
it will unfold, only when you are persisting enough, my business became a successful
enterprise.
Things followed from then on the situation of my family became better and my sisters
really worked hard for it. My business became successful, I was able to offer my parents
foreign trips, buy luxury things to my sister, and I felt so contented. However, that did not
fetch me completeness, my desire to go to university was always alive inside me. Thus, I took

the decision to study in Australia to fulfil my dream and today I am standing in this podium
holding the graduation certificate gives me the sense of pride and honour, exactly like one I
dreamt about.
Therefore, I would like end my speech by saying that life is all about the journey you
make so one should not let themselves get affected by their outcomes. Outcome or the results
cannot define you because you are always the best version of yourself. Times can bring
variety of guests to your life but it depends on you to make it a foe or a friend. Success
cannot be reduced to earning money or leading a lavish lifestyle, success is only when one
can feel it. You will be able to feel it only you can prove yourself in the times of crisis. This
is because it is the roller-coaster ride that steals away the boredom of life. Thus, “Don’t cry
because it is over, smile because it happened”.
