Leading an Organization in Culturally Diverse Settings and Uncertain Environments
In the recent years, I have seen that the trend has been increased in the organizations
for giving the teams fore responsibility for working on the major tasks. I think more of the
companies are getting for recognizing that best way for meeting the satisfaction of the
customer, faster challenges of services as well as higher quality of the products is by the
coordinated efforts of the employees. In the twenty first century, as the result the leaders for
becoming much more concerned with the managing diversity in the organization. What I
think is that diversity helps in offering both potential benefits as well as potential costs for the
organization. The business organization today operates in the increasingly globalized
environment. The leader has to be prepared for succeeding in the competitive, complex as
fast-moving world by making most of the resources. The competitive advantage comes to
those who make the best uses of their people by providing the environment, which engages as
well as enables the employees.
I observed that there are various arguments for the diversities in the business that
includes availability of the talents, enhancing of the interpersonal innovation, appealing to the
global base of customer as well as avoidance of risk. The case of the business for the
diversity is generally driven by view that the diversity brings the substantial benefits in the
form of making of better decisions, improved solving of problem as well as greater
innovation and creativity that leads towards enhancement of the development of product as
well as marketing that is more successful to the various types of the customers.
I have analyzed that the culture of corporate is collective behavior of the people who
are the part of the organization. The culture of the organization affects the way group and the
people interact internally with each other and with their client and the other stakeholders. By

the help of enabling the inclusive culture would be of highly advantageous to the company
for capturing the diversity value.
I think effective managers or the leaders can be able to better manage or lead the
diversity with the help of providing the training programs for team members. These programs
help in providing the formal approaches to understand the problems of diversity. Leaders
should try to identify if there exist any differences among team members by helping the
members for understanding these differences of individual. Their potential can be maximized
by finding the ways for capitalizing on the diverse skills, their viewpoint as well as
backgrounds. All these steps would be helpful for the leaders for leveraging the diversity in
the teams as asset.
