Project
AI Summary
This integrated project investigates the prevalence of high school dropout in Catholic schools across Sydney's western suburbs. The research begins with an introduction outlining the aim to identify factors behind dropout rates, particularly within the Catholic Education Diocese of Parramatta (CEDP), and the objectives to improve attendance and participation. A literature review examines issues like inadequate educational facilities, inequality, and the impact of socio-economic factors. The project employs a descriptive research design with qualitative and quantitative data collection methods. Strategies include ethical considerations adhering to the Data Protection Act 1998, and a detailed timeline with allocated tasks. The evaluation plan focuses on project outcomes, anticipating improved educational environments, and the limitations of the research. The project aims to create a framework to improve attendance and address socio-economic challenges, especially for aboriginal students, and examines the enrollment data from 2014-2018, and offers solutions such as counseling and financial aid. The project also considers the importance of e-learning and library accessibility to improve the education environment.

1. Introduction
1.1 Introduction
Education plays a leading role in giving adequate knowledge to teenage by trained professionals
and scholars so that they can make their carrier ahead. The purpose of this research is to identify
potential factors and attributes behind continuous high school dropout especially in Catholic
Education Diocese of Parramatta (CEDP). The research sheds light on socio-economic factors
that facilitate in developing better educational environment for students. On another hand,
student’s enrolments by school affiliation Australia are going to analysis vividly that increase the
effectiveness and reliability of research.
1.2 Aim and objectives
The research aims to improve the attendance and Participation of Teenage Children in High
School by evaluating several social- economic factors.
To identify social-economic factors behind the prevalence of high school dropout in
catholic schools
To increase the percentage of students in catholic school across Sydney’s western
suburbs
To improve the education environment in CEDP especially from aboriginal background
To develop a useful framework within the catholic school by compliance with the
school's rule and regulation
1.3 Background
The rate of high school dropout is progressively increasing especially from the aboriginal
background that affects their professional carrier. There are several factors and attributes behind
significant decreased in teenage attendees such as educational environment, high quality
professional and educational gap. In 2018, there were about 3,893,834 students who enrolled in
9,477 schools across the aboriginal background (Abs.gov.au, 2019). On the other hand, socio-
economic status is also considered as one of the essential elements in reducing the number of
attendees in catholic. It includes poor health, poverty and educational achievement that create a
negative impact on society. In Sydney's western suburbs, the number of students in a catholic

school is low as compared to Government and independent school (Agnew and Drummond,
2016). Therefore, proper research is required to conduct so that the participation of teenage in
High school can be improved positively.
1.4 Significance and innovation
This research enables lecturers to interact with attendance in CEDP, especially from aboriginal
backgrounds. It will help in creating equal opportunity for everyone by eliminating inequality
culture within an education environment (Clemons et al. 2018). This research improves the
attendance of teenage children by giving all the necessary tools and equipment for education
such as e-learning and accessibility of library. The present education policies and regulations are
considered in this research that increased the reliability and feasibility of research positively.
2. Literature review
2.1 Identification of issues in the reduction of teenage in catholic school
There are ranges of factors that influence the behaviour of teenage children, which is gradually
decreasing that demands for a useful framework. In 2018, 65.7% of students were enrolled in
government schools, 14.6% in independent schools and 19.7% in catholic schools. This data
implies that vulnerability of education culture that needs to tackle vigilantly for sustainable
development (Apa.org, 2019). The first issue is inadequate educational facilities that resist
teenage children to assess requisite information and knowledge for sustainable development.
This issue reduces the effectiveness of education within the CEDP. The second issue is
inequality that creates several problems for attendance, especially from the aboriginal
backgrounds that resist respective students in applying the new and innovative approach (Mundy
et al. 2017). The reliability of these issues can be determined to examining the participation of
teenage children from 2014 -2018.
The third issue is inactive participation of associate teacher or professional that brings problem
for students in understanding respective problems and issue positively. Approximately 69.5% of
teachers are working as full time in school.

2.2 Effect of socio-economic effect on education
Socio-economic factors are essential aspects of education that motivates teenage children for
actively participating in Scholl activities that increase the attendees. The schools with the highest
number of dropouts and low attendance are high schools in the Mount Druitt areas. This issue
can be minimized through proper counseling of respective parents for sustainable development.
Poverty is one of the major factors that encourage teenage children to drop out of high school
that demand for financial aid money to make sure aboriginal students can successfully continue
their study (Akerlof, 2019). In addition, inequality within education background brought a range
of problems in giving a better opportunity for sustainable development. The socio- economic
factor is considered as one of the major reason behind the progressive increment of high school
dropout. It is important to develop an effective strategy or planning so that feasibility of research
can be increased. The introduction of business services allows students to come school on time
especially for the economically disadvantaged families. The name of this service is called “UP n’
GO scheme” in which each student gets equal opportunity to explore education culture
positively.

education culture. On the other hand, the descriptive approach will be implemented that enable
researcher in comparing present and future aspects of develop strategy that eventually increases
the feasibility of research positively (Howie-Willis, 2017). In addition, the primary qualitative
and quantitative data collection method will be used to gather authentic and legitimate data.
3.2 Implementation and Management
The collection will be verified that increase the reliability and feasibility of research to assure
that maximum positive result can be gathered for sustainable development. The success of
research can be determined by compliance with legitimate policy and regulations.
Implementation of project management principles helps in eliminating potential risks and issues
that may increase the feasibility of research positively. The theoretical approach facilitates in
reducing the adverse effect of socio – economic factors for sustainable development (Bills, and
Howard, 2017). One of the significant advantages of this theoretical approach is the allocation of
tasks and activities based on credibility and effectiveness. It enables the researcher to monitor the
on-going status of research that eventually reduced the financial risk positively.
3.3 Timeline
The estimated timeline for this research is developed by analyzing the complexity and
requirements of the project to make sure maximum positive result can be gathered expertly.
Project management principles are considered to assure that adequate time and resources are
allocated to ensure that success of the research. This research enables students in enrolling to
specific subjects that eventually improved the participation of aboriginal teenage children

4.1 Project outcome
This research improves the educational culture in the catholic school that eventually increased
the attendees of teenage children undoubtedly. It enhances the association of professional and
lecturer in CEDP by eliminating socio-economic factors to make sure each student get equal
opportunity to showcase the talent and assessing information. The gradual increase in high
school dropout will reduce through this research to ensure that every teenage child for better
education (Yerdelen-Damar and Elby, 2016). This research improves the attendance of teenage
children by giving all the necessary tools and equipment for education such as e-learning and
accessibility of library. On the contrary, the parents of teens identified to have low attendance are
invited to family counseling to make sure rate of high school dropout can be minimized. The
present education policies and regulations are considered in this research that increased the
reliability and feasibility of research positively. It improves the education environment in CEDP
especially from aboriginal background
The major benefit of this research is exploration of new elements that help in developing an
effective strategy and framework. The implication of the right policies and regulations help in
reducing the elimination of potential issues and risks that affect teenage children positively. The
education culture across Australian Sydney Western gets improved as compared to independent
and government (Fernández-Suárez et al. 2016). The descriptive approach will be implemented
