Introduction
Organizations are becoming more aware of the significance of an integrated management
system. The information on this transcript aims at describing their importance in a company.
Through these, this article aims at the building a potential system of management of a company
in accordance with the policies stated in ISO 14001 and ISO 9001 systems of management. This
transcript, therefore, attempts to describe the methodology required in constructing an ISO. The
similarities and differences between these common kinds of ISO are also explained.

IMPLEMENTATION AND OPERATION
This manual describes the Integrated management system of Dayton Networking Company with
regards to Environmental Management system and Quality Management systems, with reference
to ISO 14001 and ISO 9001 respectively (Aleixo et al, 2018).
The goal of this Integrated Management System is to achieve quality production of goods and
services offered to customers satisfying them, with regard to this company’s goals. Moreover, it
states the fundamental codes of conduct the executive, the staff and the support staff of Dayton
Networking Company should observe (Bernardo et al, 2012).
This manual is subject to regular evaluation by the Board of Management.

Dayton networking company goals is to become one of the leading networking companies in
Australia. This means we have to put down measures for the purpose of business success, satisfy
customer needs, effective management of our business and ensure that our employees are also
satisfied.
ENVIRONMENTAL POLICY
The following are our business policies in relation to the environmental aspects that guide the
operations of our company;
Constant productivity to satisfy the ever-growing market demands.
Economic success through efficient customer guidance and hard work.
Development of a partnership with the customer for quality services and good we offer.
Safety awareness for working in a risk-free environment for health purposes and ensuring
productivity towards the market.
Training and guidance to ensure a competent group of workers in the company on a daily basis.
Therefore, this company’s policies are to be adhered to and are accessible on the boards and the
company’s internet portal for references at any time need be (Boiral, 2011).
Scope.
This manual is meant to describe the Integrated Management system of Dayton Networking in
simple terms possible with reference to the company’s policies, checklists, procedures and
directions. These management systems procedures are drawn ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 policies
with regard to procedure and directions from other relevant International Standards (Casadesus et
al, 2011).

This company is legally certified under ISO9001 and ISO14001 policies of management.
CHECKING/AUDITING
The need to achieve our company goals require that we must efficiently communicate both inside
and externally with our customers. Internally we communicate using emails, conferences,
company’s blogs and meetings. This enables us to communicate effectively concerning possible
program changes, arising issues and ensuring control in the company for a common goal.
On the other hand, external communication with our customers is by physical assessments
through a questionnaire, asking them to comment on the quality of services we offer. This is
important in making improvements for the betterment of results (Culley, 2019).
MANAGEMENT REVIEW
Our company lives on to be guided by Quality Management Principles as follows; customer
orientation, executive management responsibility, planning, process management, stakeholders
engagement, mutual relationship management and evidence-based decision making (De Oliveira,
2013.
Customer orientation and satisfaction
This involves the production of goods and offering services of customers taste. Information
received guides us on a corrective measure to take, and feedback is given back to the customers.
Planning.
Measures are taken in designing and development of new strategies for the purpose of
improving the quality of good and services offered to satisfy customer desires.

Executive management responsibility.
Entails tops management performing the roles of evaluating the strategic goals of the company
and injecting them to the employees to guiding them on the direction which the company should
take towards success.
Process management.
This involves structuring the process levels and then designing the right actions to be taken in
management. The actions taken should reflect directly on the goals aimed at being achieved. The
process management is further enhanced through assessing customers, analysis of possible
improvements and then applications of solutions proposed (Garengo & Biazzo, 2013). With
regards recommendations enacted from the valid locations, a management representative is
elected at each location within the company. The Dayton Company coordinator is responsible for
the appointment of a manager at each location.
Core Processes.
Production life cycle.
This explains the procedures required at ensuring management of our products and services
across the whole life cycle process of our company. A team is, therefore, responsible in the
management and ensuring the whole process goes to plan by developing strategies and
procedures in performing each process.
The design and developments being made in producing each product and service depends on the
customer assessment and making changes to satisfy their taste. Some of the goals of our product
life cycles are improving product quality, getting close to our customer for reviews and proper
operational expenditure with the aim of achieving greater profits (Hahn, 2013).

Business.
Dayton networking policy on sales is aimed at prices affordable to customers. Price allocations
on goods and services are made by considering customer needs. Prior to this, it is important to
identify a potential customer who will be available for long periods of time. A bond is therefore
created which will be important in marketing thus profits back to the company. The sales
manager should consider thoroughly analyzing the market, identifying challenges and identifying
the way through for continuity in the supply of those goods and services to the customers. They
must also ensure production according to customer tastes.
Comprehensive customer servicing should be adapted, from the consultation phase to designing
the recommended solutions to ensure dates set for delivery are not missed. Our sales team are
eligible for training in various aspects of marketing for the good of our company. Our customer
servicing policy will always be EMPOWERMENT FOR ALL. This was developed as it
considers everyone who would be willing to be helped by us in a way or another. This slogan
also shows we are open to maximum customer empowerment (Harris & McCaffer, 2013).
ENVIRONMENTAL PLANNING.
Environmental safety.
Safety management plans are made in relation to weather forecast data analysis. The objectives
are then established in accordance with the company's goal. Through ISO 14001, which explain
the various environmental aspects, the company is able to achieve its goals. The company has
therefore established an environment management team which analyses and determines possible
solutions for weather-related aspects. This will be achieved through the utilization of
technologically advanced equipment purchased by the company.

Dayton Network Company is always concerned about the health of its employees therefore, an
emergency plan has been established that will deal with accidents in case they occur around the
company’s premises.
Sustainabilty.
We have liaised with a sustainability quest team which will help us in covering certain
sustainability aspects. Examples of these aspects include designing, resource efficiency and an
end to end logistics.
Designing
Product designing will be important in for us in calculating life cycle analysis which will be
important for productivity in our project life cycle beginning with the basics such as extraction
up to the distribution of goods up to our target customers (Kopia et al, 2016).
End to end logistics.
Products to be transported are thoroughly examined and that that can be damaged, an alternative
form of transportation is used.
CONTINUAL IMPROVEMENT.
Various efforts are being made at Dayton Networking to improve the enterprise and efficiency of
our Integrated Management system. This is being done through constant research on projects,
effective data analysis and involving employees on certain platforms for discussions and decision
making for the sake of improving the company.
We have also put down procedures in place to ensure employees are focused towards the same
direction of ensuring our company goals go to plans.

Even though there are a number of management systems such as ISO 2200 and ISO 18091, ISO
9001 and ISO 14001 are the most common systems of management used by organizations across
the globe (Kudve et al, 2014).
Both ISO 14001 and ISO 9001 have a number of similarities and differences. The following are
some of the similarities in both ISO 14001 and ISO 9001:
Both of these systems of management make use of Plan-do-check-act structure (Lozano, 2013).
Both of these management systems are schematically structured in the same way.
Both of them are aims at the direction in management towards all members of an organization
including the executives down to the support staffs.
They both, also, aim at the management of risks encountered at an organization level. They both
recommend that there should be a management review system.
They both have the same recommendations of management practices that should be applied in an
organization. To achieve these right resources and solidarity must be used to make the whole
management process a success.
Both management systems have been published by the International Organization for
Standardization.
Certificates of operation with documented policies are issued to an organization in both systems
of management.
Both systems priorities the need for competency, training and awareness.
The similarities between the two systems allow you to have one documentation control
procedure that covers both systems. It also allows one to have one internal audit process that can
review both systems at once.
