Professional skills are value-added skills and are necessary for the career. There are
various skills which are considered as professional skills such as leadership, conflict resolution,
project management etc. Technology is very common in regular life and also becoming
necessary in our work culture (Raney and et. al., 2017). Everyday new technologies are
developed in regard of gaining the attention of people. Digital transformation happens at every
place but how to harness the data is somehow critical for the organisations to understand. Digital
skills are part of eternal skills which includes how to ensure one's well-being in the digital world
and to develop a fresh mindset for digital world. Modern generation is reliance on technology
and has changed the way of engaging with information. This report consist various internet
activities which positively and negatively impact the businesses and society. It also includes the
threats faced by organisations and society both while using the internet and also took the
corrective measures for security or services. It compares the two different unified
communications providers and also contrast their features and suitability for business.

Negative Impact Increased unnecessary competition: It becomes threat for businesses as high competition
forces businesses which cannot be handle by local or small businesses. This competition
can be seen in online market as it becomes very difficult to figure out one seller. As the
operation cost of online market is comparatively low while selling products on manual
market.
Destruction of reputation: Various online market provide liberty to its customers to give
reviews and feedback of their satisfaction level through ratings or comments (Instefjord

economic and environmental subject by blogs, social media, e-books etc. (Walker and et.
al., 2017). It increases the living standard and influences social interaction factors such as

Threats faced by Organisations and Society Security and Privacy: This can become threat for both organisations and society as the
data can be misused and also can keep people safe. With the advancement of technology

it becomes difficult to secure the personal information and data. While using devices and
update its system as this leads to steal data or information from gadgets (Khalil and
Osman, 2017). Most of the people relies on the information which is provided by internet
and for this they just neglect their security and privacy factor which can cause data
corruption. New technology is released day-by-day in order to make people techno-
friendly but they have no security plan in order to safely internet access. Hacking: It is a process by which anyone can have access of any device without
permission (Walker and et. al., 2017). Hacking leads to leaking or stealing of personal
details or confidential data such as business documents, social media accounts, bank
details, trading information etc. Hackers can damage data, erase or make modification in
it. Hacking includes legal liability like after data stolen any organisation is unable to fulfil
their agreement or contract because of various issues.
Viruses: It is also a factor of security as viruses is dangerous for information as it can
corrupt whole data. Hacking or stealing of information can also done by viruses (Jacobs
and et. al., 2017). They will slow down the process or working capacity of computer and
start replicating data, altering or destroying it. There are many viruses which can impact
computer like malware, trojan horse etc. Spyware is a kind of virus which is used by
hackers to spies on the user of computer in order to steal personal data and other
information.

Update security software: Upgradation of security software is the basic way and mandatory step
by which people can protect their data and information. Software is being updated in order to
protect information against various unwanted threats. As by using outdated security software any
device can become victim of viruses . It can be done by adopting various data security policies
which provide security to data, process for effectively deleting data when it is no longer needed
and helps in securing confidential data.
Create complex password: Hacking can be prevented by various ways in which setting complex
