INTRODUCTION
Project management is one of the aspects which are difficult to manage; it required that a proper
analysis of all the aspects should be done in a proper way. Managing an integrated project is not
easy so as to provide a proper set of direction a reflection is created on the project which was
initiated previously. In the self-reflection, developed information related to the project
management aspects will be provided. In the reflection information related to the importance of
project lifecycle in managing the project will also be provided with the effect of which project
manager will be able to evaluate all the project aspects and will be able to develop a proper set of
the framework with project life cycle and importance of the project methodologies in developing
a project.

REFLECTION
According to the academic knowledge gained by me, it could be evaluated project management
is one of the most crucial aspects attached with any organisation (Vandermeulen, 2011). It could
be evaluated that an organisation should work towards to manage the change in an appropriate
way and should adopt the technology which could help in managing that change and provide a
better opportunity to succeed in the market (Norris, 2013). I have evaluated certain objectives
which were provided in the project report these objectives are using a cause and effect technique
so as to identify the impact that will result in form of change requirements. Another objective
which was evaluated by me was an analysis of the impacts to the details the impact as they relate
to the PMBOK knowledge areas, process group and project lifecycle (Corbett, 2013). Proposed
options based on methods researcher, expert judgment, and experience was the last objective
which was evaluated by me.
According to me, change is one of the most important aspects which are required to be focused
upon by the project manager so as to ensure that the right decision could be taken in relation with
applying a project to the workplace (Gould, 2012). Innovation is the prime focus on the basis of
which a project is being developed by a project manager. Innovation helps in bringing the change
to the workplace with the effect of which work could get a manager in an appropriate way and
proper set of solution to the business problems could be provided. It could be evaluated by me
that managing project change should remain on priority by the project manager so as to ensure
that he could deal with future aspects in a proper way. This type of activity will help the project
manager in dealing with the future fluctuations and developing a proper set of the project for the
welfare of the organisation (Mainga, 2017).
I have also developed an understanding of another aspect which is project management processes
and lifecycle. These are the prime areas which are required to be taken into consideration by a
project manager. It is required that a project manager should focus on the process of the project
manager which starts with the project initiation and ends with the termination or project closure
(Mohammad Arabzad an, 2012). This lifecycle of the project helps the project manager in
delivering a proper and appropriate path of developing a project.

Each and every step availed in the project lifecycle depicts a proper and reliable information
related to the work which is required to be processed and focused upon by the project manager
so as to manage the same in a proper way (Sundbo, 2008). Lifecycle helps in availing a set path
to the project, moving on which will help the project manager in bringing quality to the project
and will help in moving in the direction of project completion.
Environmental analysis and stakeholder’s analysis are the two aspects which are required to be
focused upon by the project manager according to me (Webb & Scoular, 2011). Such type of
aspects helps in gathering the information related to the needs and requirements of the people
which are attached to the project. Fulfilling the needs and requirements of the stakeholders as
well taking the internal as well as external environment into consideration helps the project
manager in processing the same in a smooth manner (Vandermeulen, 2011). Considering the
internal as well as external environmental factors helps the project manager in developing an
appropriate set of direction with the effect of which a proper and qualitative integrated project
could be developed and a proper set of support could be provided.
In the integrated project Nightingale Project: Schedule Compression Report it has observed by
me that all the aspects are being taken into consideration (Norris, 2013). In the report, I can see
that the requirement for change is properly being considered and effective reason for the same is
being provided after which decision was made of whether to initiate the change or not.
One of the most important aspects which were noticed by me was that a recommendation is
being provided in the integrated project management report. This type of activity shows the
effectiveness of the report as it helps in making an appropriate set of decisions of what steps
should be taken by the project manager so as to manage the change and how it will help the same
in bringing and implementing new things to the project (Corbett, 2013).
CONCLUSION
Hence, by understanding all the aspects indulged in the reflection it could be concluded that the
proposal of Nightingale Project: Schedule Compression is an effective and innovative plan
proposed. In this one of the most important aspects which are required to be taken into

be availed to the project manager. It could also be suggested by me that focus on the
stakeholder's analysis should be developed so that their requirements and needs could be
analyzed and a proper set of direction could be provided for managing the change. I could make
the conclusion that following all the steps of project lifecycle could help the project manager in
developing a project which is effective and will help the same in providing a better set of
