Section 2
Reflection on steps and difficulties encountered for producing game
There are different types of steps require for a person in order to design a game. It is essential for
a successful project to be unique and distinct from others. For this purpose, different types of
steps to be taken by me that allow me to develop a game which are mentioned below:
In order to develop game, I need to conduct concept development that is essential as it
provide me direction about thing and steps to be taken (Hung, Yang and Tsai, 2020). By
this, I was able to analyse direction required for development of game.
After this, I collect information for development of game and search for method for
development of game. For this, I ask for suggestion from my team members, friends and
family as well as professor.
With analysation of methods and information, I started to work on process of game
design. It is a step, in which actual work take place as I prepare question which is to be
written on cards used for playing game among teams.
Next stage is related to refining of problem in which problem and difficulties are
identified in game and solve it for purpose of improving efficiency of game.
Next step is related to testing in which trial round of game is conducted among team. It is
important in order to identify problem related to game and also it provides me
opportunity to make correction in game (Wee and Choong, 2019). There is no problem
identified in this round and I approve game for final play. It is a last step as after that
game is presented by me to teacher.
Problem faced by me during process of developing game:
There are different types of problem are identified by me in order to complete the game. These
problems are related to lack of time, problem in handling team, conflicts and others. Explanation
of these problem in context of company is mentioned below:
Lack of time: There is lack of time available for me for completing this project as there
are some other assignments are also pending. Along with completion of this assignment, I
also need to take classes, needs to saves time for my self-study and personal life. It
creates problem for me in order to develop the game.
