Abstract
Health care sector has been continuously
expanding and using new technology in their
systems. This has helped in providing proper
health care services to patients. This paper
deals with neurodisability among children
and young individual. This paper aims at
improving communication among these
people with neuridisability. It is a long-term
condition related to brain problems and
other nervous system issues. The use of IT
interventions in BACD has been discussed
for improving communication among
children and young individual with
neurodisability. The concept of
neuridisability and role of communication
has been discussed in the paper.
Keywords: Neurodisability,

Introduction
Neurodisability refers to the group of
congenital and long term conditions, which
are impaired to brain related problem ad

problems and malfunctioning of the body
parts [1]. Neurodevelopmental conditions
are cause for disability that is estimated to
affect 3-4% of children in UK.
This report deals with improvement in
communication of children and young
individual suffering with neurodisability.
There are various factors for causing issues

Communication
Communication is regarded as the most
important factor for providing health care
services to the children and young individual
with neurodisability [6]. Communication
helps in maintaining fundamental choices
and decision-making strategies for
mitigating these issues. A proper
communication between care provider and
service user’s helps in maintaining a
transparent channel for providing care
services to them. The use of communication
skills by health care professionals is
important for providing quality care services
to these people [7].
Difficulties in communication might arise
during providing care services that needs to
be mitigated. The use of the ICT devices
helps in providing strategies for smooth
communication during health care. The IT
intervention including ICT devices have
helped in providing a proper approach
towards mitigating issues prevailing in
health care services (Parr et al. 2016).
