INTRODUCTION
Interactive systems plays the versatile role in modern scenario of the world. These
systems of interaction facilitates the speed as well as perfection in workings perform by humans.
Such advance systems makes the works more simpler by reducing time in comparison to the
actual process. The functioning of these systems areoutlined by compelling values of interaction
between humans and the computer(Silva and Campos, 2013). It can be characterised as the
systematic body that focuses on valuable interactive communication of media through cyclical
and synergetic mechanism between people and technology. An effective and needful systems
designed with the motive to accomplish simple and clarified goals due to reasonable purpose
and spontaneous screen interface.
This report pertains the knowledge that examines the systems and human -computer
interaction with the help of two selected interactive systems. The two different different photo
editing software comprises within this report includes Adobe and PhotoScape. Also, consists
description regarding these two editing software programme & their users and application of two
interactive systems as examples for its better understanding. Besides this, the evaluation

methodology, process as well as the findings or results of of software programmes are
comprises in this report.

Identifying the interactive systems and its users
The interactive systems can be defined as the software which evaluate the input from
humans as it processes. The interactive design involves the some common popular programming
systematic body in electronic form used by the humans. The systems mainly concerned with the
real time interaction between computers and humans, with the technologies that helps in
perfection in working together with the speed. Besides this, the human-computer interaction is
the integrative stream of research and study mainly concerning with designing of computer
technology and in peculiar interaction between humans and computers(Dybkjær and Dybkjær,
2012). There are two selected or identified cases of interactive systems that are the part of photo
editing, these systems or the software named as , Adobe and PohtoScape mainly used for editing
the photos and pictures.
Adobe is the brilliant software developed by the Adobe Inc. for macOS and windows
mainly used in context of photo editing, concerned with the graphic designing, video editing and
also used for web development applications developed by the Adobe system. The first version of
Adobe Creative Suite was launched in September 2003 popularly known as CS (PhotoScape,
2017). After this, there are several released categories or versions of Adobe and each edition
pertain various Adobe applications that are Photoshop, Acrobat, premiere Pro, after effects,
InDesign and illustrator each are used according to the necessity of designing and graphical
modification of photos and videos. This software mainly used by the photographers in Photoshop
or photography, media artists, modern marketers for attractive webinars designing and InDesign
user groups etc. Besides this, over 90% of the world creative professionals use for the Photoshop
and over 310 million users of Adobe Creative Cloud mobile apps across the world (Photoshop,
2017). By the up-gradation of latest features in the adobe Photoshop users need to learn so many
step by step process to use that particular tools or options which will help in development of user
capability.
PhotoScape is the software specialised for image organizer or image viewer mainly
concerned with organizing the editing the digital photos, plus an interspersed and unified photo

sharing medium, developed by the organisation named MOOII Tech, Korea (Photoshop, 2018).
Based on the concept of “easy and fun” concerned with photo editing and video editing and starts
renders licensing by “Freeware”. PhotoScape is relatively similar to the Adobe as due to it is also
operates on Microsoft Windows systems and Mac. It is not available Linux systems. As similar
to Adobe, the software can also perform the tasks of related software like Photo Viewer, Photo
Editor, GIF Animation, Colour Picker and Photo Batch-Editor. it is also similar to Adobe in
context of JPEG files, as it allows you to convert RAW images to JPEG images with ease. There
are basically total number of users are around 63 million approximately (PhotoScape, 2016).
This software is mainly used by the photographer, young generation with the motive of
optimizing the photos for web and websites developers or bloggers for inserting the suitable
collages for attractive looking of their website blog. The latest upgrades in the PhotoScape
enable users to adopt new features which ultimately help them to develop their capabilities Such
as use of 3D artworks and Illustrations features.

Examining the uses of interactive systems and their functions
The Adobe is concerned mainly with the tasks of editing the pics or photos as it is
considered as the essential software for graphic design. The Photoshop is a graphic editing
software which is mainly used by professionals of different region across the world, as the
software is available in different languages. It is used to create and alter the images form scratch
or existing images. Photoshop is used with the motive to enhance the skills of photo-shoot and
beneficial in attaining respectful employment. This software pertains the various layers that help
in masks, alpha compositing and several colour models including RGB, CMYK, CIELAB, spot
colour and duotone (Grudin 2017). Besides this, the Photoshop can be use in PSD and PSB file
formats to support the features. The software also has the raster graphic and also has the ability
to render the text, vector graphics, 3D graphics and video effects are special features because of
this it is the most widely used software for the photos and videos editing purpose. Not only this,
its features can be expanded by Photoshop plug-ins, programs developed and dealt out in
independent manner, of Photoshop that can process together with the software and renders new
special enhanced features.

As similar to the Adobe Photoshop, the Photoscape also has its several uses in the same
context of editing, such as, this software mostly uses for the main purpose of Image editing,
Edited image collections or storing, software has its own print wizard (it can be used in
customizing the printing process to any peculiar formatting such as sizing, page scaling etc.),
renders ruled paper, sheet music and blank calender spaces which is useful in printing effects,
helpful in making the collages or acts as the page mosaic maker, splitting pictures with this
electronic program, these are the several uses of the this software.

Evaluation of Interactive systems with the systematic procedure
Interactive systems such as the adobe Photoshop and PhotoScape both are used for the
similar purpose and their procedure of working are also relatively similar in several contexts.
While using these software's, if an Individual wants to make a digital scanned photos for its use
in further tasks or assignments, no matter it be a brochure, book design or packaging design, the
process of editing begins with transferring the photos in Photoshop, then several tools will locate
on the display. The working procedure of both the software are as follows.
Functioning procedure of Adobe Photoshop
Start the process of editing: If the individual wants to make editing in the images by
using the Adobe Photoshop then, individual have to access the software and navigate the image
to the software then starts making the adjustments which are shown as follows.
 Crop the photographs: This function refers to the cropping of the photo means cutting
of photos, removing the extra and irrelevant part of the photo or video with the help of
two crop tools namely, unconstrained form and square form. With the help of these
two tools of crop function the extra part of the photos can be removed and can crop the
photo in square form as well as can crop the photo in unconstrained form or adjustable
form(Pratt and Nunes, 2012). Moreover, while cropping the image the Individual can
keep the original aspect ratio by locking aspect ratio. Relatively, the Individual can
choose any aspect accordance with the necessity, such as can set up the ratio of 1:1 or

16:9 for crop. With the hep of this, an Individual can also flip the images horizontally or
vertically and rotate them also.
 Resize photographs: This is also a function which is concerned with making the
changes in size of the image. This can be done simply by uploading an image to
Photoshop and start applying the tool of resizer and by specifying accurate pixel
dimensions accordance with the size in which the individual wants to resize the image.
The image can also resize images to a percentage of the original size. This resize tool is
useful in case of transforming the photos in forums, blogs, social media or profile photos.
Photos can be resize in units pixels, inches, cm, or mm.

 Adjust and correct the colours: This function is also pertain under the Adobe
Photoshop, Colour adjustments are used with a motive to make changes in the colour and
lighting of images (McMurdie and Holmes, 2013). Adobe Photoshop includes a wide
categories of adjustments that are mainly concerned with colour changes and adjustment
in lighting in wide categories. For example, if the Individual wants to make changes in
overall brightness and contrast of as photo, brighten or darken a certain colour, make an
image warmer or cooler, or fine-tune the colours of an image automatically using the

 Touch-up and repairing of photos: It is an advance function which facilitates by the
adobe Photoshop that is mainly comprises with the erasing, brushing or removing a tear
or fold. With the help of Clone Stamp tool it becomes possible to fill in missing areas or
can erase the damage part of photos, also that can be done in case of old and damage
photos with the help of Adobe Photoshop.(Abramovich and Schunn, 2012). By using the
Clone Stamp tool anyone can repair creases and replace parts of the image that are
actually missing, fix frayed edges, and remove dust and scratches. Not only this, with the
help of Brush tool, anyone can drag the brush over the creased, damaged area, can reset
the position as needful, until the touch-up and repairing is complete.

 Applying great varieties of Filters: With the help of filter tool or by clicking the Filter
menu and choose a filter then insert the the filter in selected image this will make
colouring effects as well as warming effects in the image. For example, if image shows
an overstate sky, blue termed as the ascendant colour then, with the help of filter tool the
image can be adjust as warm it up together a bit of orange by applying the warming
Filter (Hansen, SiteSpect Inc, 2014). Moreover, in same photo, if sky pertain lot of
orange effects, then by applying the cooling Filter the orange effects can be reduce the
warmth by adjusting the balance in it with a some bit of blue effects. Not only this, by
make a click on colour square and select a colour to make adjustments as custom colour
Photo Filter. Besides this, by using the density slider it is possible to make adjustments in

the intensity of the Photo Filter. After the checking of Preserve Luminosity, the contrast
and brightness of the photo remains relatively similar even as the colour changes.
 Optimizing the photos for web: If the image is edited with an intend to be upload on the

transparencies then save it on JPEG format.
