nation and thereby Shanghai (Hofstede Insights, 2019). The key values of national culture of
Shanghai are as follows:

The Shanghai’s office values and culture can be defined with the help of mission,
ethics, values and surrounding environment as all of these play key role in evolving
organizational culture (Minkov & Hofstede, 2012). The above values of Hofstede’s
dimensions also known as global cultural dimensions are depicting the key values of
Shanghai culture as follows:
The Shanghai office is having a friendly company culture
The Shanghai office is having a challenging company culture which is positive from
employee development perspective
The Shanghai office is having a motivating, engaging, collaborative, nurturing,
autonomous corporate culture environement (Hofstede Insights, 2019).

From the key values perspective, it has been found from the case study that values
include diversity, trust and integrity, teamwork, growth mindset, work-life balance,
communication and transparency and many more have been seen at Shanghai office.

The lead trainers CEO Reg and Mike Darcy are having the capability to resolve such
issues with their leadership strategies and organizational managmenet tactics. they can
practice following organizational behaviour acts and strategies:
It should be ensured that every policy for the Shanghai office should relate back to the
key organizational values, mission and goals. The leaders should think of ethics and
values of their organization so that these newly made policies can get them where
they want to go (Heinitz, 2018).
The lead trainers should foster employee engagement and employee commitment
practices while implementing good leadership strategies to avoid aforementioned
