Introduction
This assignment consists of an application that is made for the local farm shop that is
designed for making all the functions of the shop. The application enables the user to have a
search of all the products that the farm produces. The farm usually sells vegetables, groceries,
fruits, wines, as well as gift items (Thomas, Oppermann & Krogsæter, 2017). From the
application, the user can choose their desired products and place order by paying the price of
those commodities or can pay even opting the option of cash on delivery. The customers usually
have to sign in the app for using all the features of the application. The user additionally use the
application for booking a restaurant in that area or can book a banquet for some function or
organizing small parties. The users are also able to place order for a bulk amount of food via the
application.
Discussion
Target Users- The targeted users who are specifically motivated to use the application is
the localized people in the area where the shop is situated (Shneiderman et al., 20916). The local
people are mostly targeted as there the shop wants to deliver their products within a time of 20 to
24 hours. So, to maintain this, local people are only needed.
Design Principles influenced in the Interface Design- Designing an interfaces id not just
about the look of the interface. Designing principle include about how the application works and
whether the application is able to solve the requirement of all user as well as the company. The
purpose of using the application is addressed with the design interface of the application
(Endsley, 2016). The design principle of the interface also stated that there should be proper
communication in between all the users of the application. The users associated with the

application include the owner of the shop, all the customers and the bank which is a medium of
payment for the user and the farm. The interface that is designed has all such functionalities of
payment, navigating through pages, as well as searching all the products in the farm. The
interface is colorful and contains many pictures that acts act a customer attraction to the
application.
Usability Goals influenced in the Interface Design- The experience goals of the user
includes the experience of user while using this application. This application that is designed is a
user friendly application that instructs the users about what to do for proceeding with the next
part (Page, 2014). The user can give feedback about the application in the feedback section about
their experience about using the application and about how the application is capable of
mitigating the daily needs of the users.
Positive and Negative Influence of the Design- While making an interface for an
application, there are always some positive influence as well as some negative influence of the
design that is made. The positive affect of the prototype design that is made gives all users an
attractive view by which the users get attracted towards the application (Thies, 2015). There are
many pictures as well as images that shows all commodities clearly with a detailed description of
all the commodities that are available in the farm shop. The users of the application can get and
additional feature of booking restaurant for lunch or dinner or may book a banquet for small
functions or parties. There are also disadvantage that the customers will have to be local to avail
the service of the farm shop.
Best Solution for the case- This application is recommended for the farm shop as
because this application fulfills the demand of the shop to reduce the customer rush in the shop
(Fu et al., 2018). The shop owner does not have to maintain the front end maintain of the shop as

all the selling in done online. This application design is most appropriate because it satisfies the
requirement of the user as well as requirement of the user in that locality.
Conclusion
From this application prototype, the user can solve their daily problem of going markets
for buying daily commodities. Their daily needs can be fulfilled by this application only. This
assignment details all the designing principles that are used in this assignment. This designing
principles are very essential for building an application. This application also serves some
usability goals that addressed in this assignment. The experience goals of the user are also clearly
explained in this assignment. The positive as well as negative sides of the application are stated
with the justification about why this application is best for the farm shop.
